Set aside for a few minutes. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 6. Cut 6 different strips of Paper Girl Papers 4X8 6 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 7. With the Fiskars border punch, scallop the edges of some of the papers, randomly. 8. Distress the edges and ink the edges. 7 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 9. Spray Paper Girl strips with Perfect Pearls Mist. Set aside to dry. 8 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 10. Open up your Paper Girl Die Cuts, decide which ones you want to use for this layout. 11. Cut some straight in half. 9 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 12. Adhere to the left side of strip #1 from the back side peaking out to the front. 10 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 13. Lay 3 of the Paper Girl strips onto the first page of layout one giving yourself 2 inches at the top and 2 inches at the bottom. Overlap the strips to the right side of page 1. 11 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 14.On the 6th strip of the Paper Girl strips adhere the other half of your die cuts onto the back side, diecuts peaking out to the front. 15. Adhere the 3 remaining Paper Girl strips to the 2nd side of your layout lining up with your 1st side of the double page spread. Again, leaving 2 inches at the top and 2 inches at the bottom.They should line up in the middle, connecting page 1&2. 12 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 1. Distress your Paper Route flower using the Spun Sugar Distress. 2. Cut Border strips using your Vintage Book Paper and Fiskars border punches.. 3. Punch butterflies with the Fiskars punch to embellish page. 4. Cut 8 strips of Vintage Whimsy Bits & Pieces paper into 12x1 inch strips. 16 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 2. Gather the strips together and punch a hole into the top center of the strips. 17 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 3. Adhere Silver Disk to your Vintage Whimsy Floribunda paper in the corner and Cut out. 18 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 4. Fold each strip at the bottom 1/4 inch and adhere strips to the bottom of your covered disk, even them out. 5. Apply a runner of adhesive all the way around the bottom of your disk. 19 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 6. Finger pleat your crape paper around the circle, creating a ruffle. 20 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 7. Adhere Large Doily to the bottom of your disk. 21 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 8. Hand cut your bird template onto the scrap of your Vintage Whimsy Floribunda paper. 9. Cut your small doily in half and cut 1 half into halves to create your bird’s wings. 10. Fold the pointed part of your doily 1/4 inch and adhere to your bird. 22 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 11. Fold your Baker’s Twine in half and bring it up through the holes in your strips. Creating your cage. 12. Decide how long you want your Baker’s Twine loop at the top and staple your bird cage together. 13. Punch a hole between your bird’s neck and back, decide how long you want your bird to hang. Tie it with the Baker’s Twine. 14. Cut off excess Twine. 23 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 junk bow: 1. With left over scraps of Ribbon and the Pink Tulle create a Junk Bow. 2. Cut a piece of Book Paper 4x6inches scrunch in the middle. 3. Cut some scraps of your Paper Girl Ribbon into strips and layer onto your book paper. 4. Tie together with your pink Tulle and adhere to the top of your bird cage making sure your loop is out of the way! 24 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 Jubilee Mini Book 25 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 Jubilee Pennant Mini Book: 1. Cut 2 strips of 4X12 or each of your Jubilee papers.{6 total} 2. Cut 1 strip 4x12 of each of your Bazzill papers. {3 total} 26 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 3. Fold strips in half. 27 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 4. Create a template for your pennant, cut 2 1/2 inches into the center of a folded strip. 28 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 5. Cut from the corner into the center cut on each side to create your pennant. 29 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 6. Cut the rest of your strips the same way using your first as a template. 30 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 7. Adhere your folds together, making sure you get all the edges. These are your pages! 31 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 8. Put all of your pages in order the way you want them to layout. 9. Punch a hole 1/2 inch in and a 1/2 inch down from the top and from the side. Do this with all of your pennant pages. 32 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 10. Embellish Front of your mini book. Cut small doily in half, and adhere to the left side of your page. 11. Tuck and adhere tickets on top of your doily, fan them out. 33 Tuesday, March 29, 2011 14. Adhere ribbon on top of everything to finish your layers. Add some floating butterflies punched with your Fiskars punch.
