Greetings from the Kentucky Lottery! First
let me take a moment to introduce myself.
I’m Pete Ramsey, the new Vice President of
Sales for the Kentucky Lottery. I was promoted to the position after my predecessor Bob Little retired last summer. I began
my career with the lottery on Monday,
March 20, 1989 as a Marketing Research
Analyst. Over the past 26 years I have held
several positions at the lottery including
lottery sales rep, key account manager,
internal sales manager and regional sales
manager. I am both honored and excited about the opportunity to lead the
KLC Sales team.
Muscle Car Money®
The Muscle Car Money Promotion will run Thursday,
April 30, 2015 through four (4) days after the announced
game end date. Players can enter eligible non-winning $5

will be a total of two (2) grand prizes and ten (10) second

Over the years I have had the chance to work with many of you either at
the Key Account level or by visiting individual stores. I have always appreciated the diversity of our retailer network and the strengths each of you have.

future is bright. There is an energy I am seeing in stores these days that I
haven’t seen in years. The most encouraging thing about all of this is the students of Kentucky will have an opportunity to attend college in part because

and Funding Education!

Fiscal Year 2015 has some lofty goals. Our most ambitious goal is to exceed
$883 million in lottery ticket sales. That is $542 million in scratch-off tickets and an additional $341 million in traditional draw games. To date we are
well above target with our scratch-off games. You have done an excellent job
displaying and selling these games. In fact – it is quite possible we may
exceed $550 million. Draw games have been a little soft this year with the
exception of Pick 3 which continues to chug along as the workhorse game
it is. We anticipate sales will be buoyed by the exciting new $2 game Lucky
for Life where a lucky player can win $1,000 a day for the rest of their life.

Monopoly Millionaires’ Club returns – now as a scratchoff game! The Monopoly Millionaires' Club Promotion
will run April 30 – August 23, 2015. Players can submit
their non-winning $5 Monopoly Millionaires' Club
scratch-off tickets in order to complete Property
Groups (color groups) and be awarded entries. There
will be three Grand Prize drawings - June 30, 2015, July
28, 2015, and August 25, 2015. Five (5) Grand Prizes will

Starting with one of the May games and all games thereafter, the dispenser insert
cards will have a whole new look and size! But, that’s not the only big change – they
will also be inserted directly in the packs under the shrink wrap. That’s right, they will
be included in the pack with the tickets! Since face cards are becoming more and
more popular in your dispenser and vending machine displays, we’ve increased the
quantities to support the games throughout their retail life cycle. The new cards will
be inserted into the first 10% - 25% (varies by price point) of the ticket packs for each
new game so now you’ll have extra cards on-hand to refresh your displays as needed!
