HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE
Immediately sign the back of your ticket. To claim prizes
up to $150, present your ticket at any Powerball retailer
within 180 days of the winning drawing. Some Powerball
retailers pay prizes up to $599. Check with your local
Powerball retailer for its limit. Prizes of any value can
be claimed at Lottery offices in Pueblo, Denver, Grand
Junction and Fort Collins (see back for addresses),
except for Powerball 6 of 6 matches, which must be
claimed at either the Lottery’s Pueblo or Denver office.
Tickets, except the jackpot prize, can also be claimed by
mailing the claim form and signed ticket with your name
and address to the Colorado Lottery, P.O. Box 7, Pueblo,
CO, 81002-0007 for payment by mail. Claim forms
(required only for prizes over $599) may be obtained
through your local retailer or by visiting coloradolottery.
com. Current tax withholding is 25% Federal and 4%
State for a total of 29% for winnings over $5,000. Social
Security Number required for payment of prizes $600 or
more to U.S. citizens.

Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59
p.m. so make sure to buy your tickets for each Powerball

HOW DO I WIN?
WHAT IS POWER PLAY®?
Prizes are awarded for matching combinations of white
and red balls. Players who match all 6 numbers in any
Powerball drawing win all or a share of the jackpot.
There are nine different ways for players to win.
•Increase winnings by purchasing Power Play option. If you win, you win more!
HOW ARE PRIZES DISTRIBUTED?
•If Power Play has been selected, and the ticket wins any prize level from $4 to $1 million, the prize will increase as shown in table above.
Jackpot prize is estimated and will be divided equally
among all winning tickets. Powerball officials may
reduce prize levels for Powerball and/or Power Play,
including the Match 5+0 prize, in the event that an
unanticipated number of winner claims exceed the
available prize fund for a given draw. In such instances
the dollars allocated to each prize level impacted will be
divided equally among all winners of that prize.
•Power Play applies to all lines of play on a ticket and costs $1 per line of play per drawing. For example,
3 lines of Powerball + Power Play cost $9.
•If 5 white ball numbers have been matched with
the Power Play option, the ticket winnings are
$2 million.
