Welcome to the 9th annual
North Perth Chamber of Commerce
Business Excellence Awards Gala
All of the business owners in North Perth
work tirelessly to ensure that we, the consumer,
are offered outstanding quality and
excellent service.
The North Perth Chamber of Commerce would like to
honour those amongst us who have demonstrated
determination, leadership and community support.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors that have helped
make this evening possible.
This event is to encourage community economic growth
and promote our local businesses.
We hope all those in attendance enjoy the evening and
continue to come out in years to come.
1
from the President
The North Perth Chamber of Commerce is once again pleased
to organize and host the annual Business Excellence Awards
Gala. These Awards allow us to bring together our business
community and celebrate all of its successes.
The whole process, right from the nomination stage to this
evening, is very involved and would not be such a success
without the dedicated help of many people. A special thank you
goes out to our General Manager, the Directors and all of our volunteer Judges.
Congratulations to all the nominees and thank you to all in attendance.
We hope that you enjoy your evening.
Virginia Dunbar
President
the Awards process
Thanks to Conceptual Pathways, the entire Awards process is now a
modernized tool and streamlined for simplicity while maintaining it’s
authenticity to our business community and continual successful awards gala.
How does it work? First, submissions for Nominations
from the public were received online. We contacted and
announced those Nominated with balloons this year. The
nominee than has the opportunity to accept or decline by
logging into our portal and follow the Request of Information. Six questions are asked regarding their growth, service, leadership, employee relations and community values.
The Judging Stage - The Chamber approached many community-minded
individuals, partners and members who have a sense of compassion and
understanding of our North Perth. This process begins with matching up the
submissions of nominations with the appropriate category. The judges are assigned a category, with a score system already established. In case of a tie, a
second judge is brought in to re-evaluate. The outcome of the tabulations are
not shared. Recipients remain confidential until officially announced on the
evening of the Awards Ceremony.
