“Just got the Warrior trike plans. This is going to be a great project. Thanks!” ~ Bobby S., London, Ontario NEWS January 20, 2012 Warrior tadpole trike "Hi Brad and Kat. Here are pics of my new Blue Bullet Warrior. Thanks again for the great plans. This bike rides just as good as a store brand, actually better because I know who made it. AZTV Keep up the great job you two do. I think someone in the Warrior forum was asking for ideas on where to mount a speedo. It works well, easy to see and not in the way. Florida I've got about 45 hours of labor $375 to $400 dollars invested. The biggest expense was the wheels, tires, and disc brakes ($220 without shipping) and three free old donor bikes two of which I was able to ride. It's unreal what people throw out. It was 28F this morning so I thought my shake down run wasn't going to happen, but in Florida if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. Anyway, it warmed up to 70F by lunch so I took it to the local bike trail and put 20 miles on it. WOW! Kool ride. Just a few little adjustments, and I'll take another ride Monday. Happy peddling." Fun to build and kids just love 'em. I really love your web site. Thanks, Andy Gonzalez Plains, Montana" 3 “Fantastic plans. So glad my mates told me about you guys. I’m mad about bike building. Great fun.” ~ Stephen K., Wales January 20, 2012 NEWS Our AtomicZombie Facebook fan page AZTV Show the world that you like Atomic Zombie and bike building. Hope to see you there. "Hi Brad and Kat. UK Finished and now riding my latest chopper. The bike parts were in the main free. Paid for a Brooks saddle and mudguards and crank, then new cables but even so the final spend is probably still than £120 which will just buy you an entry level mountain bike (without the really comfortable seat). Whilst out with two friends on their mountain bikes today, they both had a go and loved the more upright riding position. I had a bit of trouble getting it back! New Years resolution is to finish the quad (two wheel ratchet drive and good ground clearance for the derailleur) picture also attached. It is close, but I'm not happy with the handle bar positions, and a bit limited in options given the narrow track, but it will be finished for sure. As always finding the website a real inspiration. Regards, Tim Fox aka go1000go based in the UK." 4 “Love the new AZ Facebook fan page. Aloha.” ~ Kerry T., Maui NEWS AZTV January 20, 2012 "Hi Guys. Attached is a pic of my motorized bike. I would love to be a part of the Atomic Zombie Gallery! Thanks! William Myer Jr., Black Cycles Annandale, NJ" New Jersey "Hello this is my little bike. BMX r20. His name is "The Blacky". Claudio Ramirez, from Cañuelas, Buenos Aires State, Argentina" Argentina 5 “Very helpful, excellent communication, the instructions are superb. Many thanks.” ~ clunk00_0 January 20, 2012 NEWS #2 chopper build (OverKill) DeltaWolf with suspension AZTV Well, Wolf pack, what would you say to having independent suspension on the two rear wheels? And what if those two wheels were made up of 9" automotive wheel blanks with 26" low profile BF Goodrich tires. And what if the axles were 3/4" rather than 5/8". And what if it had 2 rear disk breaks. And what if the lower A frame arms were made out of light weight conduit with 6" MB shocks attached. And what if the rear frame came straight back rather than slant down with better eye appeal. The front suspension would be a springer on the front forks patterned after the Gladiator with out all that slant. Would we dare call it a beta “DW Springer”? Fitted the spokes to the rim, then put the rim on the frame, took a heap of measurement and there will be no problems with clearance. The tire is getting fitted tomorrow night. So, this weekend, the plan is to get the handle bars made and fitted and try to get the transmission made and fitted up (if all goes well). I was feeling a lot of wind around my head. I gave it a test ride today and the windshield worked perfect. I am not feeling any wind on my head now. I got a lot of people staring and one woman followed me and asked if she could take a picture. I am. http://forum.atomiczombie.com/ showthread.php?5897-Warrior-basedVelomobile I have finished the rear wheel, a 15 x 7.5 steel wheel, 56 spokes and stretched coaster brake hub (I haven't mounted the tire obviously). After seeing a picture of OverKill, I just had to build it. I purchased the plans, read everything I could find on the forum and here Read more: http://forum.atomiczombie.com/ showthread.php?6029-First-Build “Extremely helpful step by step building description.
