Dear Missions Partner,
What we are seeing in our Gospel Crusades is beyond miraculous. God is rapidly
increasing the harvest. Just look at the results from our past few crusades:
• In our recent crusade in Douala, Cameroon, 212,980 people recorded their
decisions for Christ. That’s more than double our two previous crusades in
Douala, Cameroon (in 1987 and 1992) – COMBINED!
• The last time we were in Kumasi, Ghana, was in 1983, and 190,000 salvation

• In 1997, our Gospel Crusade in Zambia resulted in 49,000 documented salvation
decisions. We just had a crusade in Lusaka, Zambia, 384,110 people registered their
decisions to receive Jesus as Savior. That’s 7X the number of salvations!
Glory to God! This harvest has come from seeds – seeds that were sown in previous
crusades, and by the work of other missionaries. And YOU have sown seeds
through your prayers and financial support. Now God, Who alone can give the
increase, is allowing us to bring in an unprecedented harvest of souls. Thank you for

the CfaN Gospel Crusade.
O
ver 80,000 people were in attendance at the first meeting
of our Great Gospel Campaign in Lusaka, Zambia. Two
days later, more than three times that many had gathered.
Expectancy was high from the beginning and Daniel Kolenda
wrote: “It seems as though the air is charged with electricity!”
Several local pastors stated repeatedly how extraordinary the
church participation was. One top bishop said that in the past they
struggled to get just a few hundred churches to work together. But
for this Campaign, more than 1,000 churches participated. That
was a miracle in itself, and a testimony to the credibility and trust
CfaN has in Africa. We pray that one of the lasting impacts of this
Campaign would be ongoing church unity.

On the second night of the Campaign, Daniel preached on the Blood of Jesus
and broke the power of witchcraft curses. He encouraged people to bring all
of their idols, fetishes, charms, amulets or “juju” – especially talismans given to
them by witchdoctors – to be burned that night. That is exactly what happened
in
Acts 19.
As Evangelist Kolenda preached, a witchdoctor came forward with a big white
bag full of paraphernalia and placed it in the drums to be burned. It caused
quite a stir in the crowd. But that is the kind of interruption we welcome!
On Sunday night, the last meeting, the crowd grew to 250,000 people and
many miracles took place. In addition to the hundreds of thousands who
heard the Gospel on the Campaign field, Radio Christian Voice broadcast the
meetings live all across the country. Testimonies of changed lives have flooded
in from all over Zambia.

A 7-year-old little girl who had
never heard or spoken was
healed on the first night. Daniel
counted out loud for her, and she
repeated after him.
For two years this woman sat in a
wheelchair, unable to walk. Jesus
Christ healed her on the third day in
Lusaka. She was overcome with joy.
A mad man who sat on the ground
eating dirt suddenly came to his right
mind. When he came on the platform,
he declared the wonders of God with
such enthusiasm, one pastor on the
platform proclaimed, “He’s preaching!”
A woman who was deaf in her right
ear was completely healed. When
Daniel asked who had healed her,
she declared boldly that Jesus was
the one who had given her the
ability to hear!
The Lord healed a woman who was
deaf for five years. Our translator
knew her personally, and was she
able to confirm her testimony.
Unable to walk, this woman had to
be carried to the Campaign meeting.
She testified that after receiving
prayer, she could walk perfectly.

circumstances when the first
day of the Fire Conference
was canceled due to cold,
unrelenting rain, turned out to
be a blessing to the people of
T
he first meeting of our daytime Fire Conference in Mbarara was rained
out by a cold, unrelenting downpour. The region, which is inhabited by
400,000 people, has a dry, tropical climate and frequently sustains long
periods of drought. The rainy weather was an ongoing challenge for our team,
but the local Christians were encouraged as they felt it was a sign the blessings
of God would rain down on Mbarara.
That evening, the skies cleared and thousands responded to the message
of salvation. A man who had been totally blind for three years was healed, a
woman’s huge tumor vanished, and a deaf woman began to hear.
On the second night, it poured the entire length of the service. The people
stood in the rain, prayed, sang and worshipped. Thunder crashed and lightning
flashed, and yet amazingly, the people stayed to hear the message!

despite the cold rain.

This lady brought her young son to the
platform to testify. His ear had been
continually draining pus for many
years. She said that during prayer,
“something came out” of his ear. The
pus stopped draining, and the boy was
healed. Then the woman identified
herself. When the people realized who
was talking, they shouted and jumped
for joy! She was a well-known witch
doctor in Mbarara. She testified that
she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ,
receiving Him as her personal Savior!
She told the people that she would
never practice “juju” again! Everybody
was overjoyed and began to dance,
rejoice and sing.

Later that evening, Evangelist Kolenda wrote, “As I sit in my room after tonight’s
service here in Mbarara, Uganda, completely soaked to the bone, the thing most
pronounced in my heart is what an amazing honor it is to minister to these
precious people.”
A woman whose leg had been broken in
a motorcycle accident had not been able
to walk properly for a year and a half.
Friday night she was healed. She even
did squats and danced on the platform.
A mother brought her son who was
born with a hole in his neck. After
prayer, she said the hole vanished.
Jesus had healed her son and she
was grateful.
The next night we heard amazing testimonies after praying for the sick. A very
well-known witch doctor in Mbarara brought her young son and he was healed.
She testified that she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ!

A GREAT VICTORY
FOR THE GOSPEL
W
hen our team arrived in Kumasi it was raining, and the crusade
ground was a swamp. The weather forecast called for a 90% chance of
thunderstorms all week. Evangelist Daniel Kolenda asked many of you
to pray, and we were praying ourselves that the Lord would hold back the rain.
Just before it was time to head to the field, the sun began shining brightly and the
ground dried up! Not a drop of rain fell that first night and the crowd started out

passed to local churches for follow-up. New believers
are guided to become disciples.

and many remarkable miracles took place. Kumasi was buzzing with excitement!
The rain returned on the second night, but the crowd more than doubled to
240,000, and grew to over 300,000 people by the third night. Evangelist Daniel
Kolenda preached about the blood of Jesus and many thousands responded to
the Gospel. The sick were prayed for and curses were broken as idols, amulets

and charms that had been given to the people by

invited to visit with the king of the Ashanti Kingdom
(which was the largest African Kingdom in history,

told them he had heard reports of what was happening
at the crusade and asked if Evangelist Kolenda would
pray for him.
On the final day, the crowd was so dense that there was
enormous heat coming off the crowd -­ so much heat that
people began to faint. The local authorities brought in
fire engines and began to douse the crowd with water
cannons to cool them off! All throughout Evangelist
Kolenda’s message, fifty to sixty foot-tall jets of water
moved around the crowd, spraying the people (this was
quite ironic, considering we had been praying all week
that it wouldn’t rain). Altogether, we saw 1,060,000 attend
the Ghana Gospel Campaign, and 583,480 decision cards
were registered! We are rejoicing with Heaven over the
many lives that were changed for eternity.
The leading bishops and apostles of the region sat on the
platform. They had never witnessed an event like this before.

paralyzed arm was also healed. She
could see and she could move her
arm perfectly!

was paralyzed on her right side

vangelist Daniel Kolenda held a four-day Gospel Campaign
in Douala, Cameroon, which hosted more than 370,000
people. The response to the invitation for salvation was
enormous. A staggering 212,980 people made decisions for
Christ during the meetings. As the crusade progressed, the
crowd doubled in size each night.

In addition to the many thousands who surrendered
their lives to Christ in Cameroon, there were also many
people healed. Countless stories of healings were

rheumatism, a man with crushed legs danced, and one
young man with an injured arm declared his healing
