LMRL VISITS PSBB
Phase India of PSBB’s International exchange program started off with bubbling excitement on
October 13th, 2015 at the Chennai “MAA” airport, with the students, teachers and parents eagerly
waiting outside the international terminal to receive their foreign guests.
With the start of the Navarathri festival adding to the colour and festivity of the event, each day
started with the Indian students escorting the LMRL team to their respective schools(NGM and
KKN) enabling them to experience PSBB’s top notch teaching methods, various practical classes
and not to mention a small portion of the academic pressure.
At school there were various well planned events to entertain and involve the participation of the
non-natives like the math ISA and salad day. The gweilos also gave a few presentations on their
home country in various classes, enabling PSBBians to actually experience Luxembourg, with its
churches, bridges and beautiful landscape.
Every day, after school the Luxembourg visitors were taken to various destinations of cultural
importance (Marina Beach, Santhome Church, Parthasarathy temple, Mammalapuram, Dakshin
Chitra…) aiding the Indians to brag about their country’s heritage which roots had planted deep in
world history.
After a few debating sessions and many great dinners, the trip came to an end with the students
thankful for this opportunity given to them by Dr.(Mrs.)Y.G.Parthasarathy, Mr.Y.G.Rajendraa, &
Mrs. Sheela Rajendra. After a lot of tears and hugs, the students parted ways, promising each other
that they would meet again…..
