Forget the car and spend your holiday just a few minutes walk from the famous Bosherston Lily Ponds – featured on the BBC’s nature programme, Autumn Watch. Take a peaceful walk via these ponds and woodland to the glorious Broad Haven South Beach. Or take a relaxing stroll over the headland to Barafundle Bay – voted the most beautiful beach in Britain by National Trust members. Minutes from the village pub Beaches galore Bosherston’s village pub – The St Govan’s Inn – serves tasty food and great real ales, and the renowned village café sells cream teas to die for! You can also walk or take a short drive to The Stackpole Inn, a local gastro pub with a great reputation for fresh, local food. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches too. As well as Broad Haven South and Barafundle, there’s Tenby, Saundersfoot, Little Haven and Broad Haven (North) Manorbier, Freshwater East and West and Swanlake Bay. Private, walled gardens Each cottage has its own enclosed, safe, sunny garden – accessed across an attractive courtyard – with BBQ, picnic table and benches for enjoying al fresco dining in peace and privacy. Groom’s Cottage also has a lovely summer house. Other local attractions include Pembroke Castle, Carew Castle and Mill, Manorbier Castle, the bustling seaside town of Tenby, the market towns of Pembroke and Narberth, Caldey Island, Oakwood Park and Heatherton Country Park. While St David’s is also just a short drive away. National Park beauty Nature’s haven The cottages are set in the heart of the South Pembrokeshire National Park – a beautiful part of the country with miles of world-famous coastline and countryside to explore. Otters, kingfishers and woodpeckers live nearby in and around the Lily Ponds in Bosherston, while walkers along the coast often spot seals, dolphins, rare choughs and other sea birds. This part of Pembrokeshire is a haven for wildlife. Take an invigorating walk and enjoy the awe-inspiring views of St Govan’s Head, Huntsman's Leap, Stack Rocks and Green Bridge of Wales and visit the evocative St Govan’s Chapel. So much to explore With so much to see and do, these cottages are the perfect holiday bases for walkers, fishermen, beach addicts, surfers, climbers and nature lovers. Stroll around beautiful lily ponds to unspoilt beaches, and look out for the otters. Many of our guests have been lucky to spot them. 5 Sycamore Cottage Bosherston Sleeps six + cot Wifi Link to our Facebook page for more photos. Just to say how much we enjoyed our stay at The Mews in Bosherston. We have stayed in many holiday cottages and this was certainly one of the best in terms of the quality of the cottage, the feeling of being at home, the facilities and the size and privacy of the garden. It was our first time to Pembrokeshire and what a beautiful place to visit. We had a barbeque on the final night and to have a built in facility for that is wonderful. We have some friends who want to visit Pembrokeshire and we have already recommended The Mews and Bosherston to them. It was our first time to Pembrokeshire and what a beautiful place to visit.
