This past weekend, Rav Avi and Toby Weiss opened their home to
Amy Oppenheimer-Abitbol to present about the critical work of Bat
Melech on healthy relationships and abuse prevention.

Last Shabbat Judy Lowy, Director of JobKatif, spoke in shul after Mussaf
about the wonderful work being done to help the former residents of
Gush Katif rebuild their lives by helping them find
employment. So far they have helped 2600, and hope to complete
their mission by end 2015, helping the remaining 380 who are still
struggling to earn a living. They also plan to help other weak
populations in Israel, and have already started training young
impoverished Ethiopian women to become hospital nurses – greatly

poems from his “old shul” series which incorporate memories, experiences, and imagery from his childhood in pre-gentrified
