The show will be held in the northeast corner of the intersection of Beaver and Urbandale Avenues in Beaverdale. The British cars will most likely be parked in the First American Bank parking lot between Urbandale Avenue and Fagan Drive while the European cars will most likely be parked on Fagan Drive. The exact parking location will be determined when you register your car for the show. Registration of your car can be done on the day of the show. The registration table will be on the sidewalk beside the entrance to the bank which is on the east side of the bank building. There is no entry fee but the event' s organizers are requesting that each car entrant bring one nonperishable food item to be donated to the Food Bank of Iowa. Our Club has always had a good showing at this event and we' ve always been blessed with great weather so let' s repeat this for the fifth straight year. So bring your Porsche out to the show -- it doesn' t matter what you own or drive. Get your car out there and park it with the rest of the Porsches, take some time to enjoy the other cars there and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with your fellow Club members. - Contact Person: Drew Gangle, 480-0181 Schönesland Calendar of 2008 Upcoming Events June th 7 Beaverdale Car Show st 21 Car Detailing Clinic Prevette’s th rd 28 – July 3 Porsche Parade – Charlotte NC July PCA – Jaguar Club Event TBD th th 17 – 20 Road America – Kohler International Challenge with Brian Redman August 10 Car Detailing Clinic June 21st, 10:00 am - Noon Prevette’s 3175 99th Street, Urbandale, IA phone: 515.327.8600 th Koni Challenge Iowa Speedway Schönesland PCA will be having a clinic on Porsche Care products and how to best use them at Rick Prevette' s new facility: 2175 99th St, Urbandale from 10:00 AM to Noon. As co-chairpersons of P20, we would like to thank you for considering including our event on your busy summer schedule. We feel confident that our unique venue coupled with our “casual Porsche Party” theme are responsible for quickly making this one of the premier Porsche gatherings in the country. With the addition of a few additional generous sponsors, a fun road rally on Sunday morning, as well as some informational demonstrations throughout the day, P20 is moving up to the ' next level' . We will continue with our ‘People’s Choice” car show with awards for the top ten percent of registered cars, along with the drive to Hueston Woods State Park at the end of the day. Thanks to Beechmont Porsche of Cincinnati and Griot' s Garage of Tacoma, WA,, there will be a fine selection of items available throughout the afternoon for yourself or that special someone. This year we expect over 300 shiny Porsches to attend the uptown Oxford area on Saturday, July 26th. In 2007, we had 258 Porsches from 14 states and Canada despite the suspect weather, so the response to P2O has been overwhelming. To accommodate the additional cars, we have obtained more downtown parking space along the brick-lined city streets and offer free covered parking across the street from the Elms Holiday Inn for those who reserve a room. Your $20 registration fee is a real bargain considering it gets you an event T-shirt, event poster, and entry into the car show where beautiful cars and sponsors will be on hand to help make your Porsche ownership experience even better. Attendees will also have a chance to win over $3500 worth of great door prizes that will be given away throughout the day. As great as the cars are, it’s the great people that create the success of this event. We hope you to choose to join us this July 26th in Oxford, Ohio. Based on the responses of those who have attended in the past, we are confident you are going to have a great time.
