•MISSION OF UPMG:
Uniform Product Management
Group (UPMG)
• Provide integration and life cycle support functions for
Navy Uniforms and for selected Organizational Clothing
items in direct support of OPNAV N1, N4 and the Uniform
Matters Office (UMO).
• Support program management of the Navy Working
Uniform (NWU) Types II and III.
• Serve as Integration Manager for selected USMC Individual
Combat Equipment systems that support Navy
Expeditionary Units (i.e., Load Bearing Systems, Body
Armor, Cold Weather Systems, and FR Gear).

Approach:

• Determine if the Navy data correlates with Army
and USMC anthropometric data
