Also, make sure you keep your tickets in a safe place - as RIR assumes no responsibilty for lost, misplaced or destroyed tickets. All sales are final (no refunds or exchanges). If for some reason your assigned seat location is not available, we’ll set you up with comparable seating of equal value. RIR accepts cash, money orders, VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover® for payments. Tickets purchased from sources other than RIR may not be honored, as they could be lost, stolen or counterfeit. The purchaser on file is solely responsible for any subsequent resale of a ticket regardless of how or why tickets are resold. All schedules are tentative and subject to change. In the case of postponement or rescheduling of a race, please keep your ticket or ticket stub to re-enter on the date of rescheduling. In addition, guests who are parked in Lot H or have paid to camp in BLUE OX Meadowbridge Parking Lot J have access to a FREE Tram service that runs continually on Friday and Saturday of race weekends starting at 9:00 a.m. Vehicles remaining in non-overnight RIR parking lots three hours after the conclusion of on-track activities on Friday night will be towed at the owner’s expense. Vehicles parked in Fire, Emergency and public roadway lanes are subject to fines in addition to being towed. To retrieve towed vehicles, please call Glen Allen Towing at 804-266-2700. FREE Shuttle Service RIR offers complimentary shuttle service from the Richmond Coliseum parking deck on North 7th Street for the Saturday NASCAR Sprint Cup events only. The shuttle service conveniently drops off and picks up at the Main Gate to RIR, on the corner of Laburnum Ave and Richmond-Henrico Turnpike. Information for the Coliseum is listed below: • North 7th Street, near Interstates 64 and 95, in downtown Richmond • Standard Coliseum parking deck rates apply • FREE shuttle service begins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and runs throughout the day (Shuttle service routes and times are subject to change). Visit rir.com/gooddeals to lock in yours today! 11 grandstand gate admission Grandstand Dos and Don’ts RIR allows fans to exit and re-enter the grandstands at anytime. Please make sure to have your hand stamped at the gates when exiting. You must show your ticket stub and hand stamp when re-entering. In order to provide a safe and fan-friendly environment at RIR, all fans need to adhere to the following rules when they enter the grandstands: ALLOWED LEAVE AT HOME • One soft-sided cooler, no larger than 14x14x14 • Coolers may contain ice • Lightweight backpacks or day packs (limit of one per person) • Food and beverages (brought in approved coolers) • Binoculars, scanners, headsets and cameras can be carried into the grandstands • Seat cushions can be brought in, but may not contain arm rests. Those with compartments will be reviewed upon entry • Small flags • Personal use photo and video cameras are permitted, but no commercial reproduction of footage is allowed without written permission of RIR and NASCAR licensing officials • Coolers with telescoping handles, wheels, hard sides • Seat cushions with arm rests • Flag poles of any kind • Firearms, knives and fireworks • Glass containers and insulated cups • Pets (approved service animals excluded) • Beach balls • Strollers or skateboards • Umbrellas of any size • Items restricted by local, state or federal laws • Drones • Collapsible dollies • Any items deemed to be an obstruction to other spectators can be restricted or removed by RIR staff NOTE: All items brought through the grandstand gates will be inspected. Items MAY NOT be left at the gate area. RIR will dispose of any unattended items. Coolers are not permitted into the Infield. All policies are subject to change without notice. 12 Smoking Policy The grandstand seating areas are a smoke free environment. Smoking is also prohibited in front of the grandstands, in the portals leading to the seating areas and inside any building. E-Cigarettes will also not be permitted in the grandstands for 2015. Fans are permitted to smoke in open-air areas underneath and behind the grandstands, on the Midway, and in all parking lots/campgrounds. Guests who do not follow these guidelines are subject to removal from the race. rir respect RESPECT: Don’t Leave It At Home RIR is committed to providing a memorable, enjoyable and safe race day experience for all our guests. Irresponsible conduct will NOT be tolerated on any part of the RIR property. Guests who act in an unruly manner will be subject to removal from the facility, possible loss of ticket and/or camping privileges and, in some cases, arrest. The following will not be permitted: - Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature. Smoking (including eCigarettes) in the grandstand seating areas. Fighting, taunting or any action that may harm or endanger others. Intoxication or other signs of alcohol and drug impairment that results in irresponsible behavior. Abusive or vulgar language, obscene actions or gestures. Failure to follow instructions of track personnel. Any other act or behavior that, in the judgment of RIR management, poses a threat to other guests or impacts their enjoyment of the race. Trespassing into areas designated as off-limits. For your safety and the enjoyment of others, we count on guests to follow the instructions on posted signs, from track officials, security and ushers at all times. If you need assistance contact the nearest track staff official or text the number 69050, add RIRFAN to the body of the message along with a space and then type your need or emergency. Thank you for helping make RIR a fun & exciting experience for every fan! 13 guests with disabilities Arrival and Parking ADA/Handicapped parking is available for guests with handicapped parking permits on a first-come, first-served basis. These fill quickly, so please plan your arrival time accordingly. The lots can be accessed by using Parking Gates 2, 4, 6 and the Service Gate. If you park in an ADA lot, you are only allowed to occupy one space for your use. Depending on your time of arrival, you may be directed to alternate handicapped parking in one of our satellite lots if the parking lots closest to the track become full. Guests with handicapped parking permits should know: • Guests CANNOT use a handicapped parking permit unless the person to whom it is issued is the driver of or passenger in your vehicle. • A valid photo ID will be required for entry into the ADA lots. • The permit must be hung on the rearview mirror when the vehicle is parked in the disabled parking area. • Both sides of the parking permit must display valid decals (month/year and driver’s license number). • Parking permit number must be displayed toward the front of the windshield. • Handicapped license plates accompanied with a photo ID may be used in lieu of a parking permit. • According to Virginia law, unlawful use of a parking permit is a Class Two Misdemeanor. • Refusal to cooperate with law enforcement officers implementing this program can result in removal from the property. Please note that law enforcement officers will be verifying that the person to whom the permit is issued is either the driver of or a passenger in the vehicle. Restrooms • Restrooms equipped for handicapped access are located throughout the grandstands and facility grounds. • Family unisex restrooms are located in the Dogwood Tower, Veranda Grandstands, and the Commonwealth Tower and Mezzanine. Wheelchair and Scooter Policy • Guests may bring their own wheelchairs for personal use while visiting RIR. • RIR also allows Personal Electric Transport devices that are commercially built for handicapped individual use only. PLEASE NOTE: RIR does not provide or rent wheelchairs or scooters. Trolley Routes RIR provides two trolleys that run the backside of the track from Turn 1 to outside Turn 4. Please see www.rir.com/ADA or visit any Guest Services tent for more info. 14 Handicap Assistance Carts RIR has a limited number of handicap assistance carts to help our disabled guests who require assistance with transportation within the immediate raceway property. While these carts do not pick up at specific camp sites or parking spaces, we will pick up and drop off from guest services tent locations as shown on the site map. These sites are located along a transportation route, which can be found on our website at www.rir.com/maps. Please note these carts can assist a disabled guest and one companion. Pre-Race Handicap assistance carts transport to and from guest service tent locations which are located on the defined transportation route. Exit the cart closest to your destination along this route. Post-race Handicap assistance carts transport from the following designated locations beginning 30 minutes post-race: • Backstretch-Gate 60 • Turn 1-Gate 40 • Virginia is for Lovers Frontstretch Gate • Turn 4-Gate 70 The post-race drop off points will be to the outer edges of the parking lots. Carts cannot go into the parking lots or campgrounds during post-race due to vehicle traffic. Please remember there is no tram or cart service to/from Lot G. See the property map on back cover foldout for exact locations. • The handicap assistance carts provided are for disabled ticket holders. • Please be advised that delays may occur during peak volume times immediately before and after the race. Transports will occur in the order of the guest’s arrival, and all guests should note that the carts are busiest two to three hours before the race. During this window, wait times can approach an hour in length, so please plan accordingly. • Alternate handicap guest parking in Lot H can be accessed post-race by using the free tram service near the Backstretch-Gate 60. Trams to Lots H & BLUE OX Meadowbridge Parking Lot J will run continuously, including immediately following the conclusion of the races. ENHANCE YOUR RACE DAY Tailgating 101 RIR is home to one of the best tailgating scenes in NASCAR, so be sure to get here early, set up the grills, get out the coolers and have fun! Tailgating for all events will be limited to the area directly in front of or behind each vehicle and must not take up any additional parking spaces or encroach on the drive lanes. This policy is designed for personal safety and to improve the traffic flow and parking access. Pre-Paid Group Tailgate Lot The Group Tailgate Lot provides a reserved tailgate spot for your group, space for cars, pop-up tents, tables, chairs, grills and games, easy entry and exit through Gate 6 and portable restroom access. Bring the family over to the Gwaltney Turn 3 Fun Zone on Sprint Cup event days and hop on the FREE trackside Ferris wheel! Grab a drink at the bar, snack on some Gwaltney concessions and catch the views from atop the 47-foot tall attraction located right next to the “Action Track”! Kids Club We are so excited to have a special club for our coolest fans! RIR Kids Club is for race fans 12 and younger, and gives members a special chance to experience all that RIR has to offer.
