TAC Update 08/21/14

WEEKLY UPDATE FROM TAC ENTERPRISES
Good Morning,
SummerSlam is over, but the picnic season is still in high gear. Xplore and 2nd Shift both enjoyed dining in the
great outdoors recently.
Men’s Group had a great time at a Cincinnati Bengals public practice in West Carrolton. They also enjoyed
table games and helped some of the new guys learn to toss the dice.
Karaoke anyone?
A number of people cooked and crafted this week.
We welcomed two new people to TAC Enterprises. We are glad to have them.

This week at work, a few of the folks from Xplore worked in part-setting.
With everything going on in our state and country that may impact services to people with disabilities, we
take advantage of any opportunity to show our elected officials what people do here at TAC. On Wednesday we
were honored to provide a briefing and tour to Erin Clemons, Special Assistant to Congressman John Boehner.
Everyone welcomed her and showed her the important work that goes on here. We thank her for her interest.
We had a surprise guest drop in on Summer Slam. Do you recognize the guy in the middle? If you guessed
Kent Hoke, former head of TAC, you were correct. It was Kent’s first visit back and we hope not his last.
Remember next Wednesday, August 27th, the next Open Mic session for individuals, families and caregivers
will be held at 8am at the Selma facility. Much has happened at TAC since the last one. Come and get an update
and tour of the 2nd phase of renovation. We will also be discussing state and federal issues that may affect you and
TAC. We want to hear and document your thoughts.
There are several attachments concerning upcoming events in our community. Please review these
