160 Cubic Foot Big Red Series Air-Blast Pot
Marco's 160 Cubic Foot Big Red Series Air-Blast Pot is the right equipment for large scale industrial air-blasting
projects. Its large abrasive capacity allows up to four operators to air-blast for an extended period of time. The vessel
can be filled with abrasive from a storage hopper, a pneumatic tanker, or bulk bags, reducing the time to fill the
air-blast pot with abrasive. Bulk abrasives cost less than packaged abrasives and require less handling. Big Red
Series Air-Blast Pots are commonly used with slags, steel, garnet, and mined mineral abrasives. Typical applications
for the 160 Cubic Foot Big Red Series Air-Blast Pot include high production applications such as: air-blast rooms,
air-blast yards, shipyards, bridges, oil refineries, and storage tanks.

Safety Enhancements
Marco's patent pending Pneumatic Closure Lockout Device
deters access to the camlocks when the air-blast pot is
pressurized. This safety device comes standard on all
Big Red Series Air-Blast Pots.

The 160 cubic foot abrasive capacity allows up to four operators
to air-blast for an extended period of time. The 1-1/2” I.D. pusher
line and a 150 PSI pressure rated vessel allows for higher
blasting pressure at the air-blast nozzle.

Simplified Maintenance
The 4” flanged clean-out port at the bottom of the vessel can
be quickly and easily unbolted, reducing time spent cleaning
out abrasive. This design eliminates the hassles and
headaches associated with removing threaded abrasive
clean-out pipe plugs, which commonly have corroded, seized,
or damaged threads.
Individual KwikFire™ 130 Remote Control Systems
allow the operator to identify the source of a problem and
perform maintenance on a single outlet.

150 PSI Working Pressure
The pressure vessel, built in
accordance with ASME Pressure
Vessel Code to a working pressure
of 150 PSI, allows higher air
pressure at the air-blast nozzle,
increasing production rates.
Vessel Wall Thickness
The 1/2” thick vessel wall is up to
50% thicker than other air-blast pots
on the market, providing extended
vessel life.
Hydraulic Surge Brakes
The Highway Trailer comes standard
with Hydraulic Surge Brakes that do
not require a battery or in-cab brake
controller to operate. A brake bypass
system automatically disengages
the trailer brakes when backing-up,
improving maneuvering time.
Radial-Ply Tires
The Highway and Yard Trailers come
equipped with Radial-Ply Tires with a
load rating of 6,000 lbs. per tire.
