MACARTHUR BRANCH ANNUAL SHOW SUNDAY 1st May, 2016. The BSNSW Macarthur Branch extends an invitation to all breeders to enter in the Macarthur Branch Annual Show for 2016. The various Dominant Pied varieties have been separated to showcase the several varieties of Pieds. All Dominant Pieds will be assessed at time of benching to ensure birds are entered in their correct classes. VENUE: Picton Agricultural (A H & I) Hall, Menangle Street PICTON From the M5 take the Picton off Ramp (Picton Road- becomes Menangle Street) towards Picton for approx 10 km. SHOW RULES: The show will be conducted under the Show Rules of the BSNSW. Birds to be shown in standard show cages complete with drinker, floor to be covered with budgerigar mixture as per the BSNSW Show Rules (NOTE: Plain Panicum is no longer accepted). No birds will be allowed to leave the venue prior to the presentation without the permission of the Show Manager. Birds in dirty show cages will not be judged. Non Standard entries must have a sticker on the right side of the show cage identifying the variety/s. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to place this sticker. All entry money to be paid to the Branch Treasurer, Judi Spadaro on morning of the show. All scratchings must be paid for. No birds are to be removed from the staging during the show without the permission of the Show Manager. Except for old pairs, teams and collections, this show is for owner bred birds. YOUNG birds must be in adult feather and be rung with VIOLET 2015 closed rings. Please Note: A result report for each exhibitor will be available at the completion of the show. All major awards, special cards and rosettes will be placed on the show boxes. CATERING: Bacon & Egg sandwiches will be available for breakfast at a reasonable cost. Tea and coffee included. Bar-B-Que lunch will be available at the venue at a reasonable cost. For catering purposes, please indicate at the time of entering if you will be using this facility. PRESENTATION: Presentation and raffle will be as soon as possible following the completion of judging and lunch.
