Classroom Information / Guides / Mipro Wireless Microphone/Receiver Mipro Wireless Microphone Academic Support Center 573-882-6703 Wireless Microphones and Transmitters Most classrooms with Mipro receivers also have a lavalier microphone and transmitter beltpack available in the room. These mics should already be matched to the appropriate channel in their specific room, and should be ready for use. However, 2 AA batteries are required, and are not supplied. It is suggested that anyone planning on using the microphone provided bring 2 good AA batteries for their personal use. ACT Press and hold this button to set the receiver to match the transmitter frequency to this receiver. Hold the transmitter, with the "ACT" label facing the transmitter, approximately 5"-10" away. When the mic is matched, the receiver "Channel" number will stop flashing, and the "RF" lights will illuminate. SCAN / SET Please do not use these buttons! These buttons change the channel on the receiver only. The current channels have been preset by ASC, with the hope of preventing signals crossing, and to keep matched mics matched longterm. There should be a note on the receiver to indicate the appropriate channel for the room. If this channel gets changed, please contact Classroom Technology Services at 573-882-6703. For a list of channels assigned to specific classrooms, please visit asc.missouri.edu/mipro. If your department would like to purchase a Mipro wireless microphone for use in these rooms, contact the Academic Support Center (882-3321) for assistance in ordering one. Updated: 12.18.13
