AMIMON SkyLink is a small size, light weight system that
enables wireless transmission of HD video/audio of up to
500m with zero-latency from camera mounted on a UAV
directly to the operator monitor.
Unlike traditional compress/decompress wireless data
transmission solutions that suffer from delays and
degradation of video quality, SkyLink is based on Amimon’s
revolutionary video modem concept which wirelessly
transmits the video without any compression, delivering
superior quality, robustness without any latency.
SkyLink supports any HD video resolution. The wireless
video/ audio transmission is encrypted using RSA, AES
algorithms. SkyLink operates in the 5GHz unlicensed band
requiring no line of sight between the camera and the
monitor.
SkyLink transmitter small size, 60mmx90mm, and weight,
below 100gm, make it ideal solution for mounting on UAV.
SkyLink requires no special configuration or SW driver
installation - simply connect the transmitter to the HDMI
output of the camera and the receiver to the HD-SDI input
of the monitor. This Plug & Play operation makes it the
ultimate solution for the most demanding environments.
The superiority of AMIMON’s video modem technology
has been proven in medical applications such as within
operating rooms, professional camera application such as
movie studios and in many first-tier TV and PC devices.
