High Desert Bicycles is offering a Pre-Race Bicycle Clinic
at their Albuquerque location, 8110 Louisiana NE on
Wednesday, September 9 @ 5pm. (This Bicycle Clinic
informs participants of the basic necessities and
provisions they should carry when riding and how to
conduct basic roadside repairs.) Participants must
pre-register by calling High Desert at 505-842-8260 or
505-896-4700. High Desert Bicycles also offers
complimentary safety checks to registered participants
from September 1 - 16, 2015.

Tour de Acoma
is a 100, 50 and 25-mile bike challenge covering distinct areas on
the Acoma and Laguna Pueblo reservations. An all-paved course
that offers both the experienced and recreational cyclist a
challenging and rare opportunity to ride through normally
restricted tribal lands. This competitive course features
opportunities for high speed racing as well as challenging uphill
endurance tests. The bike tour starts at 7am, September 20, 2015
at Sky City Casino Hotel. First, Second and Third Place finishers,
in both Men’s and Women’s categories, receive highly-coveted
authentic Acoma water jars.

Tour de Acoma is a fundrasing event, all proceeds go to
Haaku Museum Foundation.
