Tour de Acoma
TENTH ANNUAL
is a 100, 50 and 25-mile bike challenge covering distinct areas on the

Acoma and Laguna Pueblo reservations. An all-paved course that
offers both the experienced and recreational cyclist a challenging
and rare opportunity to ride through normally restricted tribal lands.
The Tour de Acoma is an OPEN race for men and women of all ages.
This competitive course features opportunities for high speed racing

as well as defying uphill endurance tests.

The bike tour starts at 7am on September 25 2011. All races start at
Sky City Casino Hotel (I-40, exit 102). First, Second and Third Place
finishers, in both Men’s and Women’s categories, receive
highly-coveted authentic Acoma water jars.
Entry Fees
• $40 for 25-mile ride 8:15 am
• $50 for 50-mile ride 8:00 am
• $60 for 100-mile 7:00 am

Thursday September 23, 2011 from 4pm – 8pm.
Free, pre-race Bicycle clinic
High Desert Bicycles offers a Pre-Race Bicycle Clinic on
Thursday, August 18th @ 6pm. This clinic informs participants of the
basic things they should carry when riding and how to conduct basic
roadside repairs. Participants must preregister, call High Desert at
505.842.8260 and 505.896.4700 for details. High Desert Bicycles also
offers complimentary safety checks to registered participants from
September 1, 2011 - September 16, 2011.

guardian hereby indemnifies and agrees to hold the Tour de Acoma organizers, and their agents, harmless from any and all liabilities
