Sashing: Cut (7) 2½” strips, from strips cut (40) 2½” x 6½” rectangles.
Cut (14) 2½” strips, sew together to make (9) 2 ½” x 46½” strips and (2) 2½” x 66½” strips.
Corner Squares: Cut (1) 3½” strip, from strip cut (4) 3½” squares.
Fabric D Border –
Cut (6) 3 ½” strips and sew together to make (2) 3½” x 50½” strips
and (2) 3½” x 66½” strips.
Binding - Cut (7) 2½” strips x width of fabric. Piece strips together for binding.

Backing: Cut backing into two pieces each 2¼ yards long.
Sew together along the long edges.

To make Nine Patch Blocks, lay out 2½” squares as shown in figures 1.
Sew squares into rows and sew rows together to make block. Make 24 of each color.
Lay Nine Patch blocks out as shown in figure 2. Sew
2½” x 6 ½” sashing rectangles between blocks.
Sew 2½” x 46½” sashing strips between rows, figure
3.
Following quilt photo for placement, sew the rows
together.

Sew 2 ½” x 66 ½” sashing strips to the right and left side of quilt top. Press
Sew 3 ½” x 50 ½” borders strips to the top and bottom of the quilt top. Press.
Sew 3½” square on the top and bottom edges of the 3 ½” x 66
½”border strips. Press. Sew to the right and left sides
of quilt top.
Layer, quilt and bind as desired.
