By adding Black Project Fins to your Starboard Quad board you are going to experience increased velocity, added drive and sharper turns. In onshore and or slow wave conditions consider the WaveMULTI rear fin option for added lift and drive at lower speeds. The lower drag, increased lift and added speed of the Black Projects will result in earlier planning, faster turns and bigger jumps, sounds like fun to me! For maximum drive and blasting conditions the single fin option will suit many riders and bigger sails. Heaver riders or those who sail with lots of back foot pressure should choose the Type R for more drive and grip. For riders concentrating on pure downwind slalom (or speed) the Type RS has a looser feel and has a higher top end speed. Riders sailing close to the wind and/or on a figure-‐8 course should choose the Type R. **107, 110, 117 & 130 should use Deep Tuttle bases, however regular Tuttle can be used with longer bolts. Many Futura riders are looking for a one-‐board quiver and by utilizing a selection of fins riders can adjust the ride and feel of the board to ensure hat they are perfectly balanced in a range of conditions with a range of sails and sail sizes. The Type R can be used to increase speed and drive, this is ideal if you are using big and/or cambered sails and are looking to get maximum performance and range with your Futura. For riders looking to soften their ride slightly and increase ease of use and jibing then the Freeride fin is an excellent choice, which will promote both speed and control. Intermediate riders and/or those on super flat water should choose the Freestyle Classic whereas the more advanced and pro riders sailing landing power moves and/or sailing on choppier water will benefit from the added control and smaller Freestyle Control fins. Intermediate riders looking to extend the use of their freestyle board my also want to consider a WaveSINGLE or Frewave fin for more general/non-‐freestyle use.
