So we are very proud to invite you to ETCC 2016 which, as one of the most important European conferences for coatings technology, provides a tremendous opportunity to learn about new technologies and discuss them in detail with the people who have developed them. On the one hand, industrial partners will benefit from the presentation on the latest trends, technologies and innovative products. On the other hand, poster sessions and the scientific programme broaden the spectrum of knowledge at a high level, and also give an opportunity to compare ideas and to discuss old and new questions. At the ETCC you will find both – experts from industry and scientists from academia. Jim Bury President of OCCA President of ETCC 2016 The congress is sponsored by: 2 ETCC is co-organised by The Oil and Colour Chemists’ Association (OCCA) and the Federation of Associations of Technicians for Industry of Paints in European Countries (FATIPEC). This time ETCC will take place in Birmingham, a famous industrial city which has many cultural treasures to be discovered. The congress venue is the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) - UK’s No 1 venue for exhibitions, conferences and concerts: superbly connected to Birmingham International Airport and Railway Station and with excellent hotels close by. We are very much looking forward to meet you there! Peter Collins Head of National Scientific Committee Dr. Michael Hilt President of FATIPEC WELCOME RECEPTION 24 May 2016 | 18 – 20 h Congress delegates, chairman and speakers are cordially invited to meet in a relaxed atmosphere before the congress opens.
