Commercial Terms
The pricing in this catalogue supersedes any
previous prices that you may have received
from Tapex. Prices are effective as of 1st
September 2007 and cover all deliveries after
this date. Pricing will be guaranteed up until
the 31st March 2008. Pricing in this catalogue
is ex GST and is for the unit of sale. Price
breaks are per code per delivery address.
Due to the fact that some products in this
catalogue are imported, specifications may
change. All effort is made to ensure that stock
items are available for immediate despatch.
All orders received by Tapex will be confirmed
by return fax. For stocked item orders
received before 12pm AEST, we will despatch
your goods the same day. Orders received
after 12pm AEST will be despatched the
following working day. For custom or made to
order items please allow a 3-4 week lead time
unless otherwise advised.
Tapex at its discretion may accept returns
for stock product. Please contact your sales
representative to authorise any returns before
sending goods to Tapex.
Goods if accepted for return must be unused
in saleable order. Returns will only be
considered if within 30 days of the invoice
date and a 30% restocking fee will apply.
Tapex will again expand the range in early
2008 and would appreciate your input and
feedback on new products that you would like
to see us manufacture or stock. We encourage
you to speak to your sales representative in
relation to any suggestions that you might
have.
Prices are not for end user. Wholesale
price only.
Freight Policy
Tapex will deliver all orders over the value of
$650.00 free to all mainland capital city metro
areas within Australia (except Darwin and
Perth). We will also deliver free to Wollongong,
Newcastle, NSW Central Coast, Gold Coast
and Coffs Harbour.
• Minimum order quantity of $100.00 applies.
•Orders below $650.00 but within the free
delivery zones will have a $40 freight charge
added to their invoice. If the customer
wants to arrange their own freight, all
relevant details must be provided with the
order for Tapex to action.
These charges will not affect the majority of
our customers and will allow our prices to
remain competitive.
• All orders outside
of the free delivery
zones will be placed on the customer’s nominated freight account. Tapex does
not have carriers outside its free delivery
zones.
• Orders over $2000 will be delivered FIS to
Darwin or Perth. Orders between $100 and
$1999 to Darwin and Perth will be placed
on customer freight free of charge.

Company Profile
A successful company is usually built on the
vision of its leader. In Tapex’s case, that vision
goes back a long way.
In fact, Tapex’s roots are traced back to Italian
immigrants, Villa & Rossi, who started the
business selling goods to outback Australians
in 1881. An opportunity early on allowed Villa &
Rossi to expand into manufacturing hatbands
- something that everyone needed at the time.
From those early days, Villa & Rossi believed that by being dedicated to innovation, reliability
and the pursuit of excellence, business success would be assured. While Tapex might not be
making hatbands any more, these same principles are the driving force behind every aspect of
the organisation and have helped Tapex become a world leader in many of its markets.
The same approach has also led to a number of other significant achievements.
• In the 1960’s, Tapex was the first company in the Southern Hemisphere to extrude
polypropylene and is today one of the world’s most successful plastic extrusion companies.
• In 1983, the first roles of oriented polyolefin yarns rolled off the line in Australia for making
synthetic grass.
• In 2001, Tapex purchased the world’s most sophisticated manufacturing line for production of
sports yarns in the synthetic surfaces market.
• In 2002 Tapex took its products to the global market with resounding success
• In 2002 Tapex purchased the assets of Kinnears Australia.
• In 2003 Tapexx purchased the assets of Kinnears NZ Agricultural Division.
• In 2006 Tapex purchased Agpac Ltd the leading supplier of Crop Packaging products in
New Zealand
• In 2006 Tapex purchased Empak Distribution Ltd a leading supplier in Horticultural and
Industrial Products in New Zealand.

we have continued to manufacture a world class product to supply both the Australian and
Overseas markets.
Kinnears Natlash™
Kinnears Natlash
Kinnears Natlash polypropylene twine is made
in Australia from food approved polymers.
The high tenacity, low density twine has been
manufactured specifically to hold knots firmly.
Kinnears Natlash twine is also chemically
resistant to acid and many organic solvents.
It is used commonly for pallet top tying,
general tying, securing, bunching and in food
processing.

polypropylene tying twine as the Kinnears
Natlash range. A Multi End Cop is the ideal
way in which to obtain 25 to 50 lengths of
twine economically. General uses include

The Tapex Twistie is ideal for packaging in food, baking and general industry. Tapex Twistie are
manufactured in Australia. Tapex offers two sizes of Twisties, “Super” and “Standard”. The
Standard Twistie is 4mm in width whilst the Super Twistie is 5mm in width, offering a more secure
form of containment.
