This is an opportunity for a student or emerging artist to
showcase their work on an international platform.
A Light Installation will be the central feature of the
2015 YGAP Polished Man Launch Event.
After a phenomenal first year of the Polished Man
campaign - we are excited for our 2015 launch!

WHAT IS
POLISHED MAN?
Polished Man is an innovative
fundraising campaign that
challenges men to paint one
nail, to represent the 1 in 5
children that experience
violence globally.
WHY MEN?
Over 90% of sexual
violence against children
is perpetrated by men. At
YGAP we believe that
men have a leading role
in ending this violence
against children.

WHAT
WHO
An interactive light installation
within and/or on the external
wall of the event space to
increase urban engagement. It
will engage our brand collateral
and Ambassadors.
Our target market will be all
attendees at the Launch Event
including: Media, Sponsors,
Polished Man Ambassadors and,
YGAP Volunteers.
WHY
This will be an amazing opportunity to engage your skill set in the
non-profit sector. Violence against children is a very real issue in
Australia and globally, with the 2015 Polished Man Campaign we aim
to measurably impact positive change in this space.
This Launch Event will be publicised in national and international
media avenues. A few of our Australian partners from last year were
Fairfax Media, News Limited, Mama Mia and, Pedestrian TV. We will
assign credit to the successful student in all print and digital media
from event (at journalists discretion).
We will provide high resolution imagery from the event for your folio
and a written reference from YGAP’s CEO Elliot Costello and,
Campaign Manager Kylie Wallace. You will also be invited the event
to network with high level Sponsors, Ambassadors and Media
Representatives.
THE EVENT
Last year was our pilot year for the Polished Man
Campaign and media launch at Miss Fox, Melbourne.

The Light Installation for our 2015 Polished Man Launch
Event will be the central focus off all attendees for the
first 30-40 minutes upon arrival.
Final applicants will be guided through the venue space
with the YGAP Polished Man Events Team and will have
access to support from creative agencies involved in this
years Campaign.
