CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) shortlisted four
companies to create their new London Training Centre.
Having completely refurbished all six floors of the adjoining listed building (42-44gg.com)
Blue Jelly were well placed to develop both an appealing interior design scheme and liaise
with Grosvenor Estates to gain approvals for the build elements.
CIPD were considerably downsizing from an existing 6,000 sq ft training facility found locally.
The challenge was to retain its functionality, flexibility of use and ‘drop in’ desk areas. All
within a footprint of half the overall size.
Brand implementation was also key to creating a relaxed and fresh environment that aped
the Wimbledon HQ building. A mix of soft curves, light pastel finishes and über contemporary
furniture selections created a deceptively spacious environment, whilst enjoying all the same
facilities present at the former location.
