That is the slogan for Ayre/Rhinehart Realtors in Midland. As of April 28, 2011 it is also the slogan for the new Ayre/Rhinehart Bay Realtors at 1008 Adams in Bay City. Ayre/Rhinehart is the leading real estate firm in Midland County and has the distinction of a developed culture that focuses on the needs of the clients and also the agents. Badger Beall, a well-known and successful Broker and partner of the Midland agency has opened the Bay City office as the sole owner. He has asked Bill Branigan, Melissa Beckrow, Cindy Gregory, Candace Paige, Chris McCann and Dwight McCulloch to be the first agents of the new firm. Branigan will assume the role of Associate Broker/Manager of the new company. Beall brings his extraordinary skills of sales and motivation while Branigan will bring what he has learned at Hollister REALTORS and Harris/Bush Realty to supervise the day-to-day operations. Just as Ayre/Rhinehart believes in its people, they believe it is right to give back to the community. AR Bay has adopted a “health and wellness” focus as its theme. The agency plans on teaming with local groups to sponsor activities whose goal it is to improve the quality of life in Bay County. The staff at AR Bay will be dedicated to providing their clients with the best over 100 years! They have been involved in helping over 700 families buy and sell over the last decade. AR Bay will feature full-time agents who work out of the downtown office. AR Bay will have extended office hours to serve its clients better. The office at 1008 Adams will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon. It is east of the downtown Post Office and next to the Pere Marquette Depot. Spring Market is Busy! The current real estate market has warmed up with the weather! Since St. Patrick’s Day the activity has been encouraging for Bay County real estate sales. In the first quarter of 2011 there were 300 total residential sales. The first two weeks of April saw 73 sales taking place. An average increase per week of 36%. The total number of listings for 2011 are down from the norm at only 893 total available for sale. The number of units for sale in some other recent years was near 1100 properties. The price of the average sale is $1 over last year’s average sale price of $64,232 for the first 3 months. He has been a Realtor for 11 years and had owned a hardware and lumber company in Auburn for 20 years. Bill is the Associate Broker and manager at Ayre Rhinehart Bay. Badger Beall Badger is a graduate of Albion College and holds a B.A. in Economics and Management. He has been a Realtor for 20 years and a partner at Ayre/Rhinehart for the last decade. Badger will be assisting agents in their job skills and creating a culture for them to thrive in. She devotes her personal attention and service to her clients and her enthusiasm is contagious to every one around her. Melissa graduated from Delta College and became a full-time Realtor in 1997. She completed the GRI and Evaluation Specialist courses. She has long been active in Downtown Bay City and was honored as the Ambassador of Good Will for Bay County in 1990 and she has received the key to the City of Bay City. Candace Paige has had a long list of accomplishments since she became an agent in 1977 and an Associate Broker in 1982. She has been an active member in the City of Auburn DDA and the Board of Review for both Auburn and Kawkawlin Township. Candace’s most noteworthy achievements came with her involvement with the Women’s Council of Realtors. She was elected President of the Great Lakes Bay Region in 2006-2007 and was the recipient of the Realtor-of-the-Year award in 2008. She has served on various State of Michigan committees for the Women’s Council of Realtors. She is just one of a few agents who belong to both the Bay County and Midland Realtor Boards. Candace holds the GRI, ABR and PMN designations as well as the At Home With Diversity and Transnational Referral certifications. Cindy Gregory grew up in the family construction business before going to college and graduating from Western Michigan University and then getting her Masters from Wayne State. Cindy became a Realtor in 2000 and has been active in the community by being a board member of the YWCA and Bay Med Auxiliary. She is a member of the American Library Association and is on the Bay Arenac Mental Health Committee. Cindy has an extensive knowledge of Bay County housing as she has lived in more than 29 different homes in Bay City! Chris McCann became a realtor in 1994 after she moved to Michigan from Texas. She has a background in business and accounting. Chris and her husband operated a successful Plastics industry business for 10 years before being bought out by investors. She has taken all her skills from various experiences and applied them to her professional real estate career. Chris is an outdoor person and is a sports booster in the Essexville area. Dwight McCulloch is no newcomer to Bay County real estate. He has been a licensed Realtor since 1979. Since retiring from his manufacturing career, he has been heavily involved in the local community in the United Way of Michigan and currently serves on the board of the United Way of Bay County. He was chosen to receive the Ambrose Reif Award for Volunteerism in 2010 due to his efforts. He continues his involvement with the Tuesday Toolman program, the Postal Letter Carriers Food Drive and the Helen Nickless Free Clinic. Dwight enjoys the outdoors and is a past President of the Saginaw Bay Walleye Club. When he isn’t busy selling real estate, Dwight enjoys going to his grandchildren’s events.
