Express Application in IWAS in order to receive
funds.
  Any required changes will be made within this
electronic application.

Please provide information as outlined in your
original application.
  Provides ISBE electronic approval of the budget
and any program elements.
  All future funding and program amendments will be
done through IWAS.
 
Reminders
 
Address all conditions for funding.
Use the upload feature in the program information tab
  Make changes within the application in the specific areas
 
 
Address any program or budget changes.
 
 
Remember these must be approved by ISBE prior to grant
implementation
Use detail when creating your budget.
Use the correct object and function code
  Provide descriptions within the narrative section


Complete all required fields.
Use the instructions tabs on each page when needed.
Save your work throughout the completion process.
Keep originals of any signed documents such as Private
School Consultation forms and Principal Letters on file.
NEVER use the Back button.
Be sure the District Administrator “signs” the assurances
pages.
The District Administrator submits to ISBE.
Review Checklist
If the application is requires changes upon ISBE
review, the applicant will receive email notification
that it has been returned for changes.
  Open the Review Checklist, which also opens the
application for changes to be made.


After addressing all issues, the applicant must
resubmit the application to ISBE.
  Upon ISBE approval, the budget will be loaded into
FRIS.

