Clarity® Earplug
Clarity Earplug ® 21 NRR Sound Management Technology™ Utilizing Bilsom Technology’s patented Sound Management Technology™ (SMT), the Howard Leight® Clarity® earplug improves worker safety and communication by blocking hazardous noise while voice and signal frequencies can be heard more naturally. The Clarity earplug delivers uniform attenuation that blocks low and medium frequency noise while enhances perception of higher voice and warning signal frequencies without distortion, enhancing communication and overall worker safety. Designed for Performance and Confidence Clarity’s multi-material design with translucent stem facilitates its Sound Management Technology™ (SMT) membrane, managing the transmission of sound frequencies through the earplug and ear canal. The membrane provides wearers with a visual demonstration of SMT and a high level of confidence in the Clarity earplug’s overall performance. Enhanced Communication + Clarity Performance Profile Feature Sound Management Technology™ (SMT) – Uniform Attenuation Low Attenuation NRR 21 Fused Design SMT™ Membrane Two Sizes: Regular – Blue, Small – Green Reusable Carry Case Cord Adjuster Premium Appearance Lower Attenuation Personal Comfort Clarity’s low NRR 21 dB provides ideal attenuation for workers exposed to low levels of hazardous noise, eliminating risk of overprotection in marginal noise environments and additional hazards in the workplace. Outfitting a wide range of applications and workers? Clarity is available in two sizes – regular and small – accommodating a wide range of ear canal shapes and sizes. Its exclusive Cord Adjuster allows workers to adapt the cord length to their personal preference and application. Add its FlexiFirm® core for easy insertion and quadruple SoftFlange™ seal, Clarity delivers an optimal fit and unsurpassed long-term comfort. Industrial Applications Clarity earplugs are ideal for transportation workers, light manufacturing, warehousing, food processing and other workers exposed to low levels of hazardous or nuisance noise. Improved Worker Safety Benefit • Patented design blocks low and medium frequencies, while higher frequencies (voice, signals, alarms) can be heard more naturally, with less distortion • Prevents worker isolation by enhancing communication * Regular • Low attenuation ideal for marginal noise environments of 95 dB or lower • Prevents overprotection, improves overall worker safety and compliance Molded • Patented quadruple SoftFlange™ design creates comfortable seal in the ear canal, delivers all-day comfort • FlexiFirm® stem easy to grasp and insert for proper fit • Built-in membrane within translucent stem visually demonstrates Howard Leight Sound Management innovation • Optimal fit for comfort and safety • Makes hearing protector selection simple • Provides quick and easy storage for long-term use • Hook allows wearer to attach to belt loop, apron, bag or other work tools 21 NRR 1005329 Reusable Case * Small • Adjusts cord length to suit personal preference or application • Woven cord reduces sound transmission when earplugs are worn Molded • Modern shape, color and materials make Clarity a desirable choice for workers More information available at www.howardleight.com 21 NRR 1005328 Reusable Case Clarity® Earplug Ordering Information SKU Description Packaging Configuration 1005329 Clarity – regular [blue] Reusable Case 100 PR/Case [10 Boxes/10 PR] 1005328 Clarity – small [green] Reusable Case 100 PR/Case [10 Boxes/10 PR] Proper Insertion Instructions Insertion While holding the stem, reach hand overhead and gently pull top of ear up and back. Insert earplug so all four flanges are well inside the ear canal. Proper Fit In a noisy environment, with earplugs inserted, cup hands over ears and release. Earplugs should be blocking enough noise so that covering your ears with your hands should not result in a significant noise difference. If proper fit is not obtained, move to a quiet location and repeat fitting instructions. Care Clean often in warm water. Replace hard, torn or damaged plugs. WARNING: Remove earplugs slowly with twisting motion to gradually break seal. Rapid removal may damage eardrum. Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness and could result in hearing loss or injury. Keep away from infants and small children. These earplugs are non-toxic but may interfere with breathing if caught in windpipe. Failure to follow these warnings may result in serious personal injury or serious illness, including total loss of hearing.
