From the Dūcere Foundation Directors
Many children in Africa do not have access to African stories in their schools. In fact,
many children do not have any books to read at all.
Dūcere Publishing has been established to provide a platform for African children to author and share their stories with other children and adults across the globe. Our
Storytelling program is key in encouraging creative writing and local stories. Students
sit with their elders, listening to the stories that their grandparents and tribes people
have grown up with, writing these stories in their own words.
As the Directors of the Dūcere Foundation, we commend these stories to you.
