ARMADILLO MUSIC, 207 F St., 530-758-8058; reception, 6 – 8 p.m., Armadillo Music and Jake’s Desserts (113 E St.) are partnering up to provide a special Valentine’s Day treat – ice cream! Come and indulge in a sampling of some of Jake’s Desserts frozen treats, and enjoy the live and soulful sounds of Donald Beaman. Donald Beaman is a singer-songwriter and guitarist with songs characterized by distinctive lyrics, uncluttered arrangements, and elegiac melodies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the “L-O-V-E” dance to the famous Nat King Cole song, create valentines, hear poet emeritus Alegra Silberstein, see visual art by local artists, and eat sweet treats. Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre dancers, contemporary dance, poet emeritus: Alegra Silberstein, and visual artists: Sarah Clanton, Amy Habicht, Sarita Pinto, mixed-media, wax encaustics, and custom printing.
