It is a central portal used to access information and applications for United pilots in their daily work. Through CCS, pilots will be able to access scheduling systems, weather applications, flight planning systems, training platforms, company communications, and much more using a single, convenient login. CCS was selected as the end-state system for United pilots because of its user-friendly interface. CMS screens Some of the transactions in CCS are web presentations of the CMS application. This is important to know because of how the screens are navigated. There are function keys at the top and bottom of each screen: [F1-F24], [ENTER], [RESET] ,CLEAR], and [REFRESH]. The [NOT REQUESTED SCREEN] button is used to clear erroneous displays. You must use the mouse and click the buttons on the screen to execute desired functions. Using the buttons on the keyboard to execute these functions and commands will result in either no action or an error. When required, use the mouse to click in a desired field and use the keyboard to type information. Then use the mouse to click the [ENTER] or other button on the screen. Software requirements for CCS CCS is specifically designed to support Internet Explorer 7 and higher. Additionally, the following unsupported browsers have been shown to be compatible with CCS: Firefox 3.0 or higher Safari 3 Crew Communication System Pilot’s User Guide: Login and General Help Google Chrome CCS Mobile View (requires a mobile device with a data plan and web browser).
