South Carolina bankers work with more than 20,000 community organizations each year. Banking is one of South Carolina’s biggest employers, providing jobs for 25,000+ individuals. South Carolina bankers touched more than 71,000 individuals through financial literacy efforts in 2015. The South Carolina Bankers Association has proudly served the state’s banking industry for 115 years, working with banks to help transform South Carolina. The SCBA is the professional trade association organized to represent the common interest and welfare of the South Carolina banking industry and the communities it serves. South Carolina’s banking community has given more than $6 million to education in recent years.
