A Spiritual Nexus Inspiring People to Live Their Divinity • September 18, 2016
Dr. Christian’s Corner...
Your life is a masterpiece...are you treating it that way? Are you
giving yourself all the support worthy of a master’s creation? Today’s
message is meant to help remind you of the magnificence of who you
are. Are you taking good care of that precious expression by honoring
your body, soul and spirit? An empowering way to stay aware of this is
through classes. “Life just works better when you are in class!”
The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) is putting on a seminar next month
here in San Diego called “Engaged Spirituality–Tools to Empower the Conscious
Majority.” They have asked my beloved Kalli to lead a free webinar tomorrow night,
September 19, 5:30 to 6:30pm, on “Economic Vitality as a Conscious Consumer,” that
is based on the workshop she will be presenting for the conference next month. Just
go to their website (agnt.org) and register.

Compassionate Choices
Sunday, September 25, 1 to 4 pm
Saturday, Sept. 24, 10am - noon
The objective of the Death Café,
facilitated by Lynee Calkins, is to
increase awareness of death with a
view to helping people make the most of
their finite lives. We meet this objective
through open and respectful conversation
about our views.
Through open dialogue, people have
the opportunity to uncover their beliefs
about death and dying. They have the
opportunity to deepen their spiritual
beliefs and heal old ideas that have kept
them in fear and silence...and meetings
always end with tea and cake!
Wishes and Decisions to Promote Peace and
Comfort at End of Life
In this workshop you’ll meet with a panel
of nurses who are experts in Palliative
Care and share a passion to support
individuals and families regarding serious
illness and end of life issues and options.
We will explore the California End of Life
Option Act and provide participants with
the opportunity to explore and complete
paperwork expressing their wishes
(forms will be provided.)
Instructors: Donna Taylor, RN: 40 years in ICU

David Hackett, RScP
Today’s Invocation & Meditation Practitioner
David Hackett grew up in
Malibu, and became an
avid Waterman by the age
of 17, mastering the sports
of Surfing, Sailing, Spearfishing, Diving, Windsurfing
and Skateboarding. But it
was in 1975 when he entered his first
skateboard competition; the HangTen
World Championships where he won the
Jr. Men’s Racing World Title. From that
moment on he knew that skateboarding
would be his passion for the next several
decades as he traveled around the world
introducing the sport of skateboarding
to many different countries and being
exposed to many different religious beliefs and cultures outside of his Catholic
upbringing.
As a result of living the hard partying,
jet-setting lifestyle of a professional
skateboarder, David found himself addicted to drugs and alcohol and totally lost
in these addictions until he found a 12
step program of recovery where he was
introduced to a “God he could do business with” in 1994. After about 5 years
of sobriety, David visited Seaside Center
for Spiritual Living and instantly connected with Rev. Christian’s message. After
coming to Seaside’s services off and on
over the next 6 years, David became a
Member of Seaside in 2005 and immediately began taking Seaside’s Certificated
Science of Mind classes and became
a Licensed Professional Practitioner in
2009. In 2010 David had the honor of
serving on Seaside’s Board as President
after a year as Vice President and a year
as Secretary. In 2007 he founded The
Y.O.U. Consulting Group® with his wife
Rev. Dr. Zannah Hackett. Together they
teach a Life Coach Certification program.
David and Zannah live in Encinitas with
their two small Maltese, Dazy and Lily,
and are available for Spiritual Counseling, Life Coaching and Spiritual Mind
Treatment sessions in person or over the
phone. They wish peace and blessings to
you always!

Spiritual Mind Treatment
Workshop
aka “The Essential Ernest Holmes,” certificated by
CSL, with Dr. Christina Tillotson. Started Tuesday,
Sept. 13, 6:30pm for 10 weeks - still open for
registration.
Ignite your life and contribute to
transforming the world by deeply delving
into the timeless wisdom of Dr. Ernest
Holmes. Each week you will profoundly
examine Dr. Holmes’ ideas and uncover
ways to integrate this powerful teaching
into your life. In community with, and with
the support of your classmates, you will
dialogue, experience, and meditate on
these universal principles as you build
your own future. Each week’s meditation
takes you progressively deeper and
deeper into the light to find inner Truth.
As you find that inner Truth for yourself,
you contribute to a world that works for
everyone.
PREREQUISITE: Foundations of the
Science of Mind
with Ginny Mills, RScP
Saturday, Oct. 8, 9am to 1pm
You are invited to spend a morning of your
life mastering the skill of Spiritual Mind Treatment. The powerful results of prayer are now
scientifically proven, and the directed prayer
we use in Religious Science can be a tool of
transformation for you. This special workshop will give you a personal experience of
each of the stages of treatment so that you
can more effectively use it. Align your outer
reality with the inner truth of your being–
join us for an inspirational and educational
opportunity to perfect the art of prayer.
Tuition $20; no charge for Foundations
students as this workshop is included with the
course and is required for certification.
Good morning to all the families of
Seaside. This has been an incredible
month so far as we are learning about
prayer, affirmations and this week; how
to dream big and bring those dreams
into manifestation. Our children are so
wide open and eager to learn.
We also had so much fun playing in
the park last week, while celebrating
the brand new school year with ice
cream floats and games.
I am also looking for more volunteers
to enrich our incredible Youth and
Family Ministry. Come talk to me about
sharing your time, gifts and love with
the children.
Blessings,
Victoria Grace Wood, RScP
