Dear Colleagues.
As in previous years, the conference ENVIROMANAGEMENT 2015 is tailored for decision-makers involved in
the Central European waste industry – from both public and private sectors – seeking to benefit from the
first-hand knowledge and experience of industry leaders with proven track records in their respective
fields. The conference will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and stimulate open discussion, all within
the stunning environment of the High Tatras, Eastern Europe’s renowned mountain region which rewards
all those with an appreciation of scenic views and untouched nature and a penchant for the outdoors (from
casual walkers to hardcore mountaineers)...
This year we are very pleased that ISWA´s president David Newman has agreed to be our keynote speaker –
plus a few acknowledged experts from the industry well known for their holistic understanding of waste
management. The conference will not present solutions driven by technology alone, but look beyond the
nuts and bolts and facilitate transfer of system-wide and proven knowledge hence providing the attendee
with the tools needed to implement holistic and integrated solutions in his/her professional area of activity...
A special session will focus on the solid waste management challenges when disasters strike, such as
floods, earthquakes and epidemic diseases.
Main Topics
·Status of implementing important EC Directives on Solid Waste Management (SWM)
·
Planning and the economy of recycling
·Recycling markets, energy recovery and price volatility affects on the waste planning
·
Waste prevention
·
Health and environmental risks associated with disasters: Case studies on crisis management
·
Other actual topics
·Company presentations
Kindly indicate your interest in:

Finally, let me cordially invite you once again to the conference
“ENVIROMANAGEMENT 2015: Opportunities and Challenges
in Solid Waste” reminding you on the opportunity to participate in its

We are looking forward to meeting you in the scenic area of High Tatras.
