Problems
The CPA looks more like an academic building than a building dedicated to the arts
The entrance doesn’t serve the needs of students
The furniture sits in the middle of the room, not fitting the disgonal flow of traffic
There is no table for students to be able to eat
The current display case is “dead space”
First Prototype
Not the most original
Only made references to the ceiling
still used the display case as is
Final Proposal
The furniture creates space that caters to the flow of traffic
The semi-transparent decals allow for intrigue from the outside
Decals on the ceiling can be formed into shapes designed by art students
The display area is more efficient by bringing the wall out, and using
magnets which allows for easy movement, and invites students to hang
up more event posters
