Set in 30 acres of stunning Wiltshire countryside, our gardens and
breathtaking view provide the perfect backdrop for your special day.
Whether you plan an intimate occasion for a dozen guests or a lavish
celebration and evening party we have rooms to suit. Whatever your wishes
we will be honoured to be entrusted with your arrangements.
As a family owned hotel we understand the responsibility of planning such an
important occasion and will be happy to offer advice, experience and flexibility in
all aspects to make your day both fabulous and memorable for years to come.

The Ceremony
Making your vows here with us, in charming surroundings enables you
to hold the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception all under
one roof. Five rooms are licensed for ceremonies offering you an intimate
atmosphere whether you wish to have two guests or two hundred. For
a traditional church wedding you can arrive in style in one of our two
chauffeur driven vintage Rolls Royces. The hotel and gardens are ideal
for mingling and relaxing with your guests allowing your photographer to
capture your perfect day in a natural and elegant setting.
When planning your Ceremony you must contact either Swindon Borough
Council Registrars Office on 01793 522738 or the church in which you
wish to wed to discuss dates, availability and fees.*
Room Hire Charges:
Zan’s Lounge/Redwood/Beech Room £350
(up to 25 guests/up to 60 guests/up to 60 guests)
Tawny’s/Garden Room £650
(up to 70 guests/up to 200 guests)
*Please note Registrar’s Fees and Church Fees are separate and
must be paid independently from the hotel invoice.
Room dressing fees vary according to your personal requirements.

Reception Rooms
The Garden Room is our largest and most flexible room. This delightful
ballroom can accommodate a civil wedding with up to 100 guests or even
up to 200 guests in a certain configuration and up to 220 for your wedding
breakfast. This room has its own bar and dance floor for your wedding
reception with up to 250 guests for an evening buffet.
Tawny’s Restaurant can accommodate a civil wedding for up to 70 guests
for the wedding breakfast. Tawny’s is an exquisite room for a wedding, a
fairytale setting with mirrors and chandeliers. It has its own patio garden for
arriving guests with a stone arch and ‘ruin wall’ as a backdrop for photos.
For the evening party Tawny’s Restaurant can be used in conjunction with
Zan’s Bar where your guests who are meeting for the first time, or renewing
old acquaintances will be delighted to find an area to relax away from the
disco without missing out on the party atmosphere.
The Beech & Redwood Rooms are ideal for medium sized weddings and can
comfortably accommodate 60 guests with no minimum number.
Zan’s Lounge is the wood panelled room in the original farmhouse. It
accommodates up to 20 guests on an oval table for an intimate occasion,
it has its own bar, the option of a roaring fire and is licensed for a civil
ceremony for up to 30 guests.
Minimum Requirements Guarantee
A minimum number guarantee may apply during the high season and on
specific days of the week. For more details please discuss these guidelines
with your Wedding Co-ordinator.

Menus
With many years of experience our chef has compiled wedding menus to
satisfy the broad range of tastes usually found within the family, whilst providing
excellent fare to match the occasion. Should you prefer a favourite dish not
featured we will be happy to discuss this with you.
Choose a starter, main course and dessert from the menu band of your choice.
Main courses are all served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes, if you wish
you can add a sorbet for just £2.50 or an additional fish course for £5.50.
Children
Children 12 and under can take the selected menu at half price or have a simple
meal e.g. melon balls, chicken nuggets and fries, ice cream and a soft drink.
For babies under 18 months old we are happy to heat baby food and bottles.
All children occupy a place on the table plan. Please advise us in advance if
high chairs are required.

breakfast. A wine tasting can be arranged for you to sample our
personal recommendations, hand chosen to compliment your menu
(wine tasting must be booked a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the date
of the wedding).

All guests attending in the evening must be catered for.

Accommodation
The romance of a traditional four poster
and the convenience of having your own
bedroom suite on site is perfect sense.
We never knowingly disclose your plans to
other guests.
Our house bedrooms in the main hotel
feature new bathrooms with power shower,
wall mounted flat screen TVs, subtle designer
lighting and stylish new furniture.
As a family owned hotel we pride ourselves in
catering for large or small families of varying
ages. Family rooms can include bunk beds
with additional sofa bed, cots and put up
beds or interconnecting rooms for parents
wanting extra space and privacy.
Our Pavilion Executive bedrooms are located
in a stunning separate building 150 feet
from the main hotel and are favoured for
their spaciousness and superb bathrooms
featuring separate showers. Bedrooms at
ground level have a patio and those on level
two and three have balconies suspended
from the roof eaves, many enjoying fantastic
views to the Cotswold’s.
Suites with private lounge area, four poster
beds and rooms adapted for people with
disabilities are also available.
Preferential Accommodation Rates
We have special accommodation rates for the
bridal party and guests wishing to stay, relax
and make use of our superb leisure facilities.
A limited number of rooms are available at
preferential rates, therefore we ask guests to
book early to avoid disappointment.

We are probably the only hotel in the country with
two white Rolls Royces, a Silver Shadow and a

florist who creates stunning floral designs for all
your needs – from the bridal bouquet to pedestals,
Carrie provides a truly and unique personal service
at a competitive price and has delighted every
single bride she has looked after.
Secrets Beauty Salon
The bride ‘to be’, mum (and don’t forget mum in
law ‘to be’) and bridesmaids will look great and
feel relaxed, perfect preparation for ‘the big day’. A
visit to Secrets is a great idea for a hen night. Please
