Traditionally, IUPUI and the
Indianapolis community come
together in September for the IUPUI
Regatta, a half-mile canoe race on
the canal in downtown Indianapolis.
Teams of IUPUI students, faculty,
staff, and alumni compete in the race,
which raises funds for scholarships
for student leaders.

COSTS
IUPUI offers lower tuition and fee costs
than many other four-year colleges in
Indiana. The estimated costs provided
below are a good starting place for
planning. Remember that your costs
will depend on the degree program you
choose as well as factors such as whether
you live on or off campus.
Banded rate tuition is charged to full-time
undergraduate students taking between
12 and 18 credit hours. There are also
some mandatory fees for all students.
In addition, some courses may have special
fees for supplies, equipment, or laboratory use.

FINANCIAL AID
You have lots of options for paying for your
IUPUI education, including loans, grants,
and scholarships.
The first step in applying for financial aid is
to complete the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA). When you complete

competitive scholarships and direct admission to the IUPUI Honors
College. Students must complete the online honors application by
