Back to School Information 2016-2017 First Student Day: July 27th The outstanding staff members of Perry Townships Schools, who impact the lives of children on a daily basis, are the key ingredient to the success of the school district. I am blessed to serve the Perry Township community as the Superintendent of Schools. I am also one of the fortunate people that found a calling that I truly embrace. The ability to help children and their families realize their educational dreams is a very rewarding experience. I look forward to the 2016-17 school year with excitement and high expectations. To access the Parent Center, go to the district’s website, http://www.perryschools.org/ and enter your login information. An ID number and personal identification number (pin) are needed to gain access to the Parent Center. Your ‘pin’ can be found on the textbook rental invoice that will be mailed to parents. The Parent Center is constantly evolving…check it out! All fees should be paid in full on or before the first day of school. If you have not received your statement or need additional information, please call your child’s school. Payments can be made with a check or online with a credit card. The check must be made payable to the student’s school. Please note: Financial assistance is available for families who qualify. Please check out the Food Service website, http://websites.msdpt.k12.in.us/food/ for further instructions. An invoice statement, listing all school course fees, is scheduled for mailing to each student’s home in September. This statement will itemize textbook rental charges along with workbooks, consumable workbooks, supplemental charges and supply fees ending with a grand total payable to the school your student attends. Perry Township Schools will once again be accepting payments for textbook rental and student lunches for the 2016-2017 school year, using the e~Funds Payment System. Online payments may be made using your checking account or by credit card: Visa, Mastercard, and/or Discover Card are the credit cards that will be accepted. In order to access the online payment system, one must have access to the Internet. If payees do not have access to the Internet from home, work, or elsewhere, computers will be available for use during the designated orientation or registration times before the start of school. The online payment system will be available 24/7. Once connected to the school district website, select the Parents / Students link to logon to Skyward Family Access. The minimum amount accepted for lunch payments will be $10.00. Students will be able to use money posted to the cafeteria account immediately after an online payment is made.
