McCain Mu Xi Chapter Named after Alumnus Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, announced that alumnus Thomas K. McCain has established a $250,000 endowment for the Mu Xi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, thus providing long-term funding for the Southeast College of Business student organization. The chapter was renamed the Thomas K. McCain Mu Xi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the first time in the history of the international organization that a chapter has been named for an individual. We are profoundly grateful for this substantial gift that will provide funding for additional professional education and experiential learning opportunities that are critical to the development, training and success of Southeast business students who belong to BAP. “Mr. McCain’s gift will have a lasting impact and his legacy will be one of providing extraordinary educational access and opportunity for many, many College of Business students now and in the future,” Dobbins said. “On behalf of all of Southeast’s current and future students, I would like to express our deepest appreciation for this generous endowment that will change countless lives in this region for many years to come.” McCain is a 1970 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a major in accounting.
