Bill” “Jesús lloró “Jesus wept” He was human. He lived in a big extended family. He had lots of friends. How could he have gotten through life without shedding a tear? Do you think anyone said to him: “Don’t be a baby?” or “Big boys don’t cry?” He saw the people who were sick; he saw those who were outcasts from family and neighborhood. He bore the sins of the world on his shoulders. He was divine. He knew who close the Father longed to be to them and yet how far away from God they felt. Of course he wept. Let’s make our homes and our church places where it is okay to laugh and cry. The Evangelist John did us a favor when he reported these two little words, “Jesus wept.” Jesus is the Way. Sometimes the Way leads through tears. A nd when he had said this, he cried out in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, tied hand and foot with burial bands, and his face was wrapped in a cloth. So Jesus said to them, "Untie him and let him go." - Jn 11:43-44 Fifth Week of Lent: I Will Put My Spirit in You that You May Have Life The scriptures this weekend are rich with the theme that God brings the dead to life. God has made us all to share life with Him, and so all humans have rights and responsibilities to the basic goods of the earth. In Kenya and elsewhere, Catholic Relief Services' Operation Rice Bowl helps people receive the basic right of an education. Jesús fue humano. Vivió en una familia grande. Tuvo muchos amigos. SPIRITUAL ADOPTION A MESSAGE FROM YOUR BABY Please pray daily for your spiritually adopted baby and the baby’s parents.
