He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, USA and Certified Director under Code of Corporate Governance, SECP. His last assignment was with Allied Bank Limited as Industrial Expert (Power and Energy), where he also worked as a “Lender’s Engineer”. Prior to Allied Bank, he worked as Director and CEO of ALTERN ENERGY Ltd (Sister Concern of DESCON Engineering Ltd), a KSE quoted IPP. He also worked as Chief Operating Officer for Altern’s subsidiary, Rousch (Pakistan) Power Ltd, a 450 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. Mr. Faruqui served as CEO of INSPECTEST Pvt Ltd.
