The joining of components by the Electron Beam welding process eliminates fasteners, saves significant structural weight, speeds assembly time, and reduces costs. THE PART ON THE RIGHT INITIALLY WAS CONCEIVED AS A MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY REQUIRING NUMEROUS FASTENERS & OVERLAPPING JOINTS WHICH ADDED WEIGHT AND ASSEMBLY TIME. STADCO PROVIDED AN EB WELDED SOLUTION WHICH DRASTICALLY REDUCED THE WEIGHT OF THE FINISHED PART & ALSO REDUCED THE COST.
