This 22 week program is geared towards developing potential Inter-city players for the coming 2014 summer season. Selection to the Winter Academy doesn’t guarantee a spot on an Inter-city team. Winter: The indoor recreational league is a program offered from January to March, for 10 weeks. The onehour sessions will include some skill development before every league game. The league games are for players born from 1996 to 2006. At the present time these sessions are under the excellent tutelage of our technical department. Recreational league coaches will be asked to coach a team. Summer: There is a choice of two leagues through the summer months; the Inter-city league and the Inter-park league (also known as House League). The Inter-park league is recreational. The time commitment is two weekday evenings. The Inter-city league is for more competitive players. Inter-city begins with open tryouts in the Fall, Winter Academy and invitational spring tryouts. The time commitment in the summer months is two to three times per week (maybe games on the weekends at U12-U18) and possibly of a tournament(s) (tournaments are selected by individual teams after coach/parent meeting and are not mandatory). We are working towards establishing AAA soccer teams starting at U14 to U18 which will play in the Elite league throughout Quebec. Summer Camp: We have a summer camp in July and August for boys and girls 6 - 18 years old from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and day care from 8-9 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. with extended daycare available if needed. The camp is based at DDO 1 & 2 soccer fields across the street from the Dollard Civic Center. Our Summer Camp has been a success for over 10 years! We introduce soccer at age 4 (who play on Saturday mornings) in our club and spans ages from U5 through to Seniors.
