A bar tab can be set at the commencement of your function with a specified limit or
amount. Please note pre authorised credit cards will be taken. This can be reviewed as
your function progresses, and increased if required. Or by consumption, similar to a bar
tab however generally there is no limit or amount set.

With fully stocked bars & beers on tap, your guests will be able to select from a long list of
drinks, which they can purchase as they go.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Confirmation of Bookings:
The Notting Hill Hotel accepts tentative bookings, held for up to 14 days. Once this period has lapsed, The
Notting Hill Hotel reserves the right to release the tentative reservation. To confirm a booking, a minimum
deposit of $200 is required, which is then refunded on the night of the function, once the minimum spend has
been met. This payment should be made within 7 days of booking, to secure the date, and can be done by
using a credit card, EFTPOS or cash.
Prices & Minimum Spends:
All prices quoted are inclusive of GST. Whilst every effort is taken to maintain prices, these are subject to
change. Minimum spend requirements apply for function spaces in The Bistro and The Saloon. Management
will advise the minimum spend upon enquiry and are restricted to food and beverage spend only. Please note,
that any costs outside of this (ie. Security, entertainment, equipment) are not included in the final calculation.
Final Payment:
All catering requirements must be specified by the time of booking confirmation. Full payment of food items
is required no less than 14 days prior to your function date. Beverage payments and additional costs are to be
reconciled at the conclusion of your function. The venue reserves the right, not to proceed with the function if
payments have not been received.
Cancellations:
Cancellations are to be advised no later than three weeks prior to the function date. Cancelling a function
after this date, will forfeit the deposit.
Entertainment:
Live entertainment can be organised by the function manager, at an additional cost.
Menu Selections and Catering Requirements:
Menu selections will need to be finalised at time of final payment (14 days prior to the function date). Dietary
requirements will be considered if advised by this date. The Notting Hill Hotel reserves the right to substitute
food and beverage menu items of a similar quality due to, but not limited to, supplier shortages and seasonal
change.
BYO Policy:
No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought to The Notting Hill Hotel for consumption by
the guests, with the exception of birthday cakes, wedding cakes, etc. without permission from The Notting Hill
Hotel.
Responsible Service of Alcohol:
The Notting Hill Hotel adheres to the responsible service of alcohol legislation. All staff are trained in the
Liquor Licensing Accredited RSA – Responsible Service of Alcohol, and may refuse to serve alcohol to any
person they may believe to be intoxicated. Any intoxicated persons may be removed from the venue. In
accordance with the Victorian liquor licensing laws, minors are only permitted on the premises whilst in the
direct company of their parent or legal guardian. At no time, is a minor permitted to consume alcohol on the
premises.
Function Conduct:
It is a requirement that the function organiser will conduct the function in an appropriate manner. All venue
policies , procedures and legal responsibilities apply to any and all guests, attending functions at all times.
Please note that function organisers are financially responsible for any damage, theft, breakage or vandalism
to the venue. Should crowd controllers be required for your event these costs will be additional.
