DISTRICT DEPUTY’S MESSAGE
Dear Brother Knights,
Congratulations on another very successful year! Achieving Star Council for a second year is a great
accomplishment. Excellent job Brothers!
As previously advised, Exemplifications of the Second and Third Degrees are being planned and are
now scheduled for Sunday, August 9th at the St. Paul’s Church in Bloomingdale. The Grand Knight
has the details. This is a wonderful opportunity for those members seeking advancement to full
Knighthood. I encourage all members to attend, especially if you have not been to a degree in some
time. Please help support the candidates and also the hosting council, 7803!
The Chapter Ball on Saturday, June 13th at Tupper Lake had a lower attendance this year compared to
last but was still a fun, and entertaining evening with a good collection of funds for the designated
recipients! I hope others will consider attending next year! The annual
will
be held on Sunday, July 26th and the Prayer Rally will be on Sunday, October 4th at Canton. Please
consider attending one or both events!
Vivat Jesus!
Fraternally,
Bill McIntyre
District Deputy
District 94
Prayer for the Protection of Religious Liberty
O God our Creator, from your provident hand we have received our right to life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You have called us as your people and given
us the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God, and your Son, Jesus
Christ.
Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit, you call us to live out our
faith in the midst of the world, bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel
to every corner of society.
We ask you to bless us in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty. Give us the
strength of mind and heart to readily defend our freedoms when they are
threatened; give us courage in making our voices heard on behalf of the rights of
your Church and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father, a clear and united voice to all your sons and
daughters gathered in your Church in this decisive hour in the history of our
nation, so that, with every trial withstood and every danger overcome—for the
sake of our children, our grandchildren, and all who come after us—this great land
will always be “one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Please keep in your prayers our brother knights and their family members that are ill, especially Bob
Douglas, Tom Fiumara and FS Greg Peck. Please also remember in prayer our parish family members that
are ill and our less fortunate friends and neighbors, and please continue to pray for vocations!
Please also refer to the PRAYER REQUESTS and KNIGHTS IN MEMORIAM areas on the council website!
Best wishes to the gentlemen celebrating a
