SEMITECH 500
SEMI-SYNTHETIC METALWORKING FLUID
This is a new generation semi-synthetic metalworking fluid based on hard
water properties. It combines the stability found in synthetic fluids with the
lubricity and economy of soluble oils. Ideal for individual machine sump and
central system applications due to its excellent corrosion and rancidity control,
broad use (4-10) concentration range and performance characteristics. SEMITECH
500 does not contain diethanolamine, nitrites, or phenols. It can be recycled for reuse
or can be easily treated for disposal.

Hard Water Stable: Superior hard water stability compared with traditional soluble oils thereby
maintaining a stable emulsion for better wetting, lubricity, and cleaner machine surfaces.
Reduced Consumption: A stable tight emulsion reduces usage from carry out, up to 20%.
Additive Independent: No need for tank side pH buffers, emulsifiers, or costly and hazardous biocides.
Low Oil Content: Contains only 20% of the oil in a soluble thereby reducing mist and oily residues
on machine surfaces and windows.
MIXING INFORMATION:
Combine SEMITECH 500 metalworking fluid with water. Always add percentage
of product concentrate to water, not water to product concentrate. Chart below is
the recommended percentage by application. Product concentration can easily be
monitored by refractometer.

SEMITECH 500 is available in 4/1 gallon bottles (case), 5 gallon pails,
55 gallon drums, 275 gallon totes, and bulk quantities.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures

Eye Contact: If splashed into the eyes, flush with clean water for 15 minutes or until irritation subsides.
If irritation persists, call a physician.

Skin Contact: In case of contact, remove any contaminated clothing and wash the skin
thoroughly with mild soap and water. If irritation persists, call a physician.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Call a physician immediately.
•
Ingestion: If ingested, call a physician immediately.

SEMITECH 500 should be stored indoors. SEMITECH 500 contains no harmful or harsh ingredients.
All products used in SEMITECH 500 have been registered with the federal government and have assigned CAS numbers.
Dispose of in accordance with local authority requirements. Protective eye wear and chemical resistant gloves are
recommended when handling SEMITECH 500 concentrate.
