Ultimate Miami Beach Experience 50 Enc hanted Brides ~ Fall 2009/Winter 2010 Kristi Lore Crisafulli and Thomas Andrew Chillot April 4, 2009 T he couple set out for a moonlit walk on the beach, champagne in hand. Within 100 yards of their walk, Tom offered to sit for a drink when he commenced with the traditional one-knee to request for Kristi’s hand in marriage. To his exhilaration she accepted. Most remarkably, on the walk back to the house, local inhabitants began setting off fireworks and a local musician began strumming his guitar for which Tom took credit for arranging which was complete happenstance. If ever a couple was meant to be together, this was definitely the surest sign! Kristi and Tom’s goal for their wedding weekend in Miami Beach was to show their guests a fun and luxurious weekend at two of the hottest spots in Miami Beach. The rehearsal dinner and welcome party was staged at the fabulous Gansevoort South and the ceremony and the reception at the gorgeous Casa Casuarina. Guests traveling from New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC were treated to the ultimate Miami Beach experience. The most amazing part of Kristi and Tom’s wedding was seeing each other before the ceremony for their photo session. Event planner, Jackie Ohh took great care to keep Kristi and Tom completely separate until a crescendo moment when Tom, with his back turned to his bride was told to wait until she approached and tapped him on the shoulder. When she did, Tom could do nothing but step back in sheer amazement at the beauty of his bride and was completely speechless as Kristi’s bridesmaids joined Tom in tearful preparation for the celebration that would soon follow. The wedding was a black tie event with Kristi wearing a white Oscar De La Renta gown with Stuart Weitzman peep toe pumps and jewelry from Ascot Diamonds. Tom wore his Ermenegildo Zegna Tuxedo. The bridesmaids wore black long BCBG dresses and the flower girl, Abby, Tom’s daughter, wore a long white US Angels dress with a black sash. The black tie affair kept in theme with the black, white and silver colors of the wedding décor. As for the décor at the reception, there were centerpieces with a mixture of white flowers in high and low vases with black ribbon accents. Blue Lighting cascaded the tables and walls of the beautiful court and pool of the famous setting that encapsulates the life of South Beach without compare! The décor set the mood for a lavish black tie affair. The most special part of the entire wedding weekend for Kristi and Tom was having their family, friends and Tom’s children all together celebrating their union in one of their favorite places, Miami Beach.
