BOX COATER - GAS TECHNICAL DATA BOX COATER SYSTEM MC 380H / MC 380 KIT PREPARATION PROCEDURE FOR THE INSTALLATION Water circuit connections For the tap water supply provide for a pipe line with 2 taps of ¾”G [(3/4” fpt USA) — female thread)] in order to feed: • Water deionizer and T10 • Box coater. The water discharges coming from different components are as follows (5 pipe lines): a) b) c) no. 3 water pipe lines from the cleaning system; 2 of them for water exhaust with a PVC flexible hose (int. dia. 25 mm/ext. dia. 32 mm); 1 of them for detergent exhaust, still made of PVC but with different diameters (int. dia. 16 mm/ext. dia. 22 mm). No. 1 pipe line from the deionizer with a PVC flexible hose (int. dia. 16 mm/ext. dia. 22 mm). No. 1 pipe line from the box coater with a PVC flexible hose (int. dia. 25 mm/ext. dia. 32 mm). IMPORTANT:the main discharge must be close to the floor (at a distance of max. 300 mm) in order to allow a better drainage coming from the different units. The requested minimal dimension is a pipe with a 3”G internal diameter. Modem connection Provide for a direct phone line (that is by-passing your eventual switchboard). Electrical wiring connection See drawing regarding “Power Distributor”. Compressed air connection For the compressed air line you must provide for a plastic hose (int. dia. 8 mm/est. dia. 10 mm). This will be connected to the “COMPRESSED AIR DRYING UNIT” which will feed the “BOX COATER” and the “IONIZED AIR SYSTEM”. Plant dimensions Please verify that the dimensions of your entry door as well as of your working area are consistent with the dimensions indicated on our suggested lay out and on the technical data sheet named “Dimensions of SATISLOH MC 380H”. Chiller water circuit connection (on request) For city water supply you have to provide for a line with ¾”G female thread. REMARKS: for the above mentioned connections please refer to the standard lay out as per our drawing no. B6000200N-820L or to the personalized lay out requested by the customer. A-0305 SATIS BOX COATER SYSTEM SATIS MC 380H / MC380 KIT PREPARAZIONE AREA PER L’INSTALLAZIONE Collegamenti circuito acqua Per l’erogazione dell’acqua di rete dovete predisporre una linea con 2 rubinetti da ¾”G femmina, di cui uno destinato all’unità di lavaggio (deionizzatore e T10) e l’altro all’impianto di deposizione. Gli scarichi dell’acqua provenienti dagli utilizzi sono 5, così suddivisi: a) b) c) no. 3 linee provenienti dall’unità di lavaggio, due delle quali per lo scarico dell’acqua, con un tubo flessibile in PVC (diam. int. 25 mm/est. 32 mm) e l’altro per lo scarico dei detergenti, con lo stesso tipo di tubo, ma con diametri diversi (int. 16 mm/est. 22 mm). No. 1 linea proveniente dal deionizzatore, con un tubo flessibile in PVC (diam. int. 16 mm/est. 22 mm). No. 1 linea proveniente dall’impianto di deposizione, con un tubo flessibile in PVC (diam. int. 25 mm/est. 32 mm). IMPORTANTE:lo scarico generale che dovete installare deve essere posto vicino al pavimento (ad una distanza di max. 300 mm) in modo tale da permettere un miglior drenaggio delle macchine. La dimensione minima richiesta è un tubo avente il diametro interno di 3”G. Collegamento modem Preghiamo predisporre una linea telefonica diretta (vale a dire senza passare dal Vs. eventuale centralino). Collegamento circuito elettrico Vedi disegno “Power Distributor”. Collegamento aria compressa Predisporre una linea di aria compressa con un raccordo per tubo in plastica del diam. int. di 8 mm ed est. di 10 mm. Questa linea sarà collegata al “COMPRESSED AIR DRYING UNIT” che, a sua volta, alimenterà l’impianto MC380H (“BOX COATER” e “IONIZED AIR SYSTEM”). Dimensioni impianto Preghiamo verificare che le dimensioni della Vs. porta d’ingresso nonché dell’area di lavoro siano compatibili con le dimensioni indicate sul lay out da noi consigliato e sul foglio informativo chiamato “Dimensioni SATISLOH MC 380H”. Besides all the power supply cables must have PE (yellow – green ground) wire, neutral wire couldn’t be necessary in some application please refer to T. I. M. Data sheet Technical details are subject to change without prior notice Rev.B-943 MC380-H Summary of installation requirements (B943).doc Appendix A – Suggested earth system and earth leakage breaker In order to have the optimal operation of the electronic equipment, Satisloh MC260/350/360/360R/380/380R/380H/380Kit plants must be grounded to an earth system with resistance ≤ 3Ω and sized according to the plant power supply line. To reduce high frequency electrical noise to the control equipment Satisloh suggest realizing an earth system complying with general rules and with the following preferred implementations, see Fig 1. This configuration can be used with several plants installed on the same room as long as each connection length to the rods is ≤ 20 m. Fig. 1 VIETATA LA RIPRODUZIONE. Pag. 1-2 Earth leakage breaker In order to protect against electric shock, the standard distribution box, supplied with the plant, include a 500 mA Residual Current Device (earth leakage breaker). For proper operation no other similar protection devices with lower value is allowed on the plant power supply line. Additional notes on grounding circuits The Satis MC series plants use two grounding connections: - from the power supply line (to comply with the Standard requirement) - direct connection to the ground rod (to reduce high frequency electrical noise due to E.B.G.) If other machines (not Satisloh with similar or greater power requirement) are installed on the same power supply line and share a common ground path, in case of fault the current can go trough the direct connection (of the Satisloh plant) to the rod. Since this current is coming from an external fault no protection can be provided by the earth leakage breaker and a danger condition can be generated. To avoid these situations one of these solutions can be used: - use a local earth leakage breaker for each plant line - avoid sharing ground line between different plants ATTENTION PLEASE If for any reason the devices are not supplied trough our distribution box (without leakage breaker) a general earth leakage breaker with 500 mA (phases and neutral) must be provided on the supply line. In the “GROUND RESISTANCE TEST DIAGRAM” is indicated how to measure the ground resistance. VIETATA LA RIPRODUZIONE.
