MADDOX METAL WORKS, INC. 4116 Bronze Way, Dallas, Texas 75237 Ph(214)333-2311 Fax(214)337-8169 E-mail: sales@maddoxmetalworks.com The ES-200 Maddox Electrostatic Seasoning System is a quantum leap in seasoning technology. Due to the compact design, the seasoner can be mounted directly on the tumbler (either the infeed or discharge side), or on a stand (rolling or fixed position). By effectively applying electrostatic charges to seasonings and salt, a tremendous improvement in seasoning coverage is achieved. The ES-200 covers the product consistently and uniformly, even on the back side. Because of electrical interactions between the seasoning and the product, seasoning particles no longer float in the air -- significantly reducing dust and wasted seasoning. Unlike the conventional process, the charged seasoning particles are applied without the use of additional oil sprays. This produces a chip that is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye as well as to the touch, contains seasoning that is less likely to come off on the consumer’s hands, and lower in oil content. Effective and simple to operate, the ES-200 delivers quantifiable cost savings in several different ways as shown below: • The system is extremely reliable. When a completely dry seasoning is used, there is no clogging of the seasoner components to create downtime. • The flavoring powder adheres to the product and not the equipment, resulting in very little waste. • The Maddox system virtually eliminates the problem of airborne seasoning powders contaminating the work environment. Conventional equipment releases fine, powdery particles of the seasoning to float and drift in the air. This frequently causes contamination of other machines in the processing line and forces personnel to resort to the wearing of respirator masks. When using the ES-200, the charged particles are confined to the interior of the tumbler’s drum -- a feature that line operators will greatly appreciate.
