Other Venice Film Festival
The Other Venice Film Festival (OVFF) proudly returns, better than ever, for its
13th season this October 7thto 9th
The OVFF is a non-profit community event dedicated to screening full-length,
short and animated films that embody the spirit, energy and diversity of
Venice, California. From our humble beginnings in 2003 with only 14 films,
the OVFF has grown to become an International Film Festival . In 2015
seventy-five filmmakers from the area and abroad - including Australia,
England and Germany - descended on Venice for three days of film
screenings, premieres, sell out crowds, spirited Q&A sessions, panel
discussions, local art on display and parties with live music and DJs. For
2016, we are certain we have the best selection of films yet. We will also
be recognizing City Dignitaries with an Abbot Award for Community
Service.
Some of the local artists who have participated in the festival include
RogerCorman, Catherine Hardwicke ,, Werner Herzog, Tony Alva, Orson
Bean,Tony Bill, Paul Chowder, Camryn Manheim, Gary Marcus, Stanley
Mitchell,Chris Mulkey, Zak Penn, Stacey Peralta, Michael Pressman,
Danny Trejo,Oliver Stone, Lori Petty and Sean Welch, among many others.

The Abbot Awards are given to filmmakers who exemplify maverick filmmaking…
By creating stunning and poignant cinema. These films, often hilarious or tragically absurd, are made without the benefits of large budgets and
technological wizardry. These filmmakers share the spirit and artistic energy of Venice's founding father Abbot Kinney. Extending the goodwill,
Abbot Awards are also presented in association with (company name) to Venetians who excel in art and community service. Recipients of the
Arts & Community Service Abbot include Orson Bean, Gregory Hines, and Ed Ruscha,
among others.

Beach Event Saturday October
In addition to this years festival, our title sponsor (Company Name) is sponsoring a day long beach event at Windward Plaza on Venice Beach
Saturday October to coincide with the festival. This event will be free and open to the public and will include food and drinks, an After Party
VIP/Sponsor hospitality Room. live music (Bands TBD but will include a nationally recognized headliner with various local acts), vendors,
Dancers street performers, circus performers, professional skaters, and special guest.This will garner major press from local, national and
international media outlets per Major Corp vast public relations and media contacts. We’re expecting crowds of 10,000+to attend this event
throughout the day and it will be covered by Venice Paparazzi. This event has extra costs & city permits.
Our Audience
The Other Venice Film Festival targets creative individuals with a flair for art, fashion,
culture and technology who live and work in greater Los Angeles. For many, Venice
remains one of the select ‘independently-creative and spirited’ communities still thriving
in Los Angeles. We reflect and respect this aesthetic in our programming, marketing and
audience appeal.
Attendees generally work in entertainment, fashion, consumer, and technology
businesses. Hundreds of thousands are exposed to the festival through our media
outreach each year. Over 5,000 people attended the festival last year, and the average
age range was from 25 to 40 years old and approximately 60:40, male /female. Attendee
demographics vary by screening, (i.e. the Music Video Series skews 21-30 years old,
approximately 50:50 male/female).
We maintain a year-round Web presence at www.othervenicefilmfestival.com. We have
over 1,000 qualified names in our mailing list and thousands of views of our YouTube
festival clip videos. We also distribute over 20,000 promotional postcards and posters
through greater Los Angeles in key entertainment, fashion, restaurants and public venues
and will distribute and additional 30,000 flyers either by newspaper inserts or direct mail.
Leading up to the festival giant banners are hung on Abbot Kinney Blvd., where
thousands of cars pass every day. Plus, there are ticket giveaways on blogs and radio onair promotions with KLXU (88.9fm). and social media. The festival is extensively covered
in local and regional print, with highlights including a cover story in The Argonaut, feature
story In Motion Picture Magazine, and festival film reviews in The Los Angeles Times.

_____________ to January 15th 2017 LIMITATION ON DAMAGES: In no event will OVFF or any OVFF sponsor
or partners be liable to sponsor for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on
breach of contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, whether or not OVFF or the above mentioned
entities have been advised of the possibility of such damage.SUBMISSION OF MATERIALS: All materials will
be submitted in accordance with the specifications presented in the OVFF
Sponsor Kit. Failure to submit materials in accordance with these specifications will result in production

PRESERVATION OF IDENTITY: The Sponsor agrees to include the OVFF logo / URL in all advertising related to
the OVFF event including national or local print publications, on-property signage, flyers, table tents, etc., and
on the Sponsor’s own Web site. The Sponsor agrees to reference this film event to which this agreement
applies as the Other Venice Film Festival® or “OVFF” and further agrees NOT to use similar terms of different
promoters. The Sponsor agrees that it will not feature any icons, logos, URLs, or e-mail addresses related to
OVFF or Other Venice Film Festival® other than its own or those provided by OVFF, on any
advertisements, products, websites, etc, controlled by the Sponsor during the period of this agreement.
ASSIGNMENT: Advertiser may not assign this agreement, in whole or in part, without OVFF's written consent.
Any attempt to assign this Agreement without such consent will be null and void.GOVERNING LAW: This
Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. ENTIRE
AGREEMENT: This Agreement and any and all exhibits and attachments are the complete and exclusive
agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, superseding and replacing any and
all prior agreements, communications, and understandings (both written and oral) regarding such subject
matter, provided that all pricing will be governed by OVFF, whether printed on paper or electronically.
This Agreement may only be modified, or any rights under it waived, by a written document executed by both
parties. The terms and conditions of this Agreement will prevail over any contrary or inconsistent terms in any
purchase order. Fees payable to Other Venice Film Festival®.
